Eisenhuth is a cup player too, he’s not a first grader, at least Joey Ratu is 21 and can still improve plenty, Eiso looks like he’ll be around the same level the rest of his career. Ratu finished last year strongly and if he’s training well is a better option than Eiso for the future

But yeah like u said if thats the choices Ratu has it over Eiso cos of age but Eiso is more experienced.

I think for first choice 17 neither of em make the cut...

Twal, Mikaeke, Aloiai, Garner, MCK... these are all FG standard. Young too.... this is the calibre we should be chasing.

Yeah I definitely don’t think either are in the starting 17, but Ratu has a lot more potential than Eiso, and it gives Eiso the chance to play more footy elsewhere. Win-win for everyone.

Let Eiso play more footy elsewhere and reward Ratu for finishing last year well and training well. I very well could be wrong and they promote someone else or sign someone else but for me at the moment Ratu makes the most sense.

Let Eiso play more footy elsewhere and reward Ratu for finishing last year well and training well. I very well could be wrong and they promote someone else or sign someone else but for me at the moment Ratu makes the most sense.

The immediate question that comes to mind is why he outlasted Korobeite and JAC who imo are far superior wingers. Why is that? Was our talent identification and retention that poor that we failed to see this or, was there another issue at play?

Great defender but he’s not really the kind of prop/lock Madge likes. Madge wants big bodies who run hard and bend the line and that’s not exactly Eisos strong suit.
