Hopefully Madge is working on a way to fix that. Too often Benji got isolated in defence and he’s just not got it in him anymore to tackles those big mobile second rowers anymore.

It’s definitely an issue, they need to make sure either one of the Leilua bro’s is always next to him so Benji isn’t making one on one tackles too often, that’s how both dragons and knights got through him.

See it differently myself.

He's got it in him, probably a better defender now than he ever was.

The trouble is, he was isolated and there was too much room and he is not quick enough now.

I don’t know where the problem was. Joey L was truly diabolical against the Knights and has some form in regards to defence. Benji probably wasn’t great but I think it was exacerbated by Leilua.

I don’t know where the problem was. Joey L was truly diabolical against the Knights and has some form in regards to defence. Benji probably wasn’t great but I think it was exacerbated by Leilua.

Benji was not in position on a number of occasions it wasnt just the fact that he missed tackles but he wasnt in position to make them.

My concern is not about Brooks' ability. It is hiding a 105kg centre in defence because he is either ineffectual or lazy or both.

That’s not what you said...you can if you have a half that can defend one on one...

I don't think you can have Leiliua's defending with themselves or Benji or Garner , unfortunately when Garner misses tackles they quite often are clean misses

Brooks and Mbye will definitely help , no question , but their is not a way you can separate all 3
