There is no chance they would let him go as he is one of there main players. I would not say no but no chance

Could only see Sezer coming over in 2021 not straight away - Benji probably retires, Reynolds hopefully moved on then Sezer plays 5/8 with Madden and Walters as depth. Doueihi stays at fullback. Don’t think we will be signing him anytime soon hopefully Saab is top priority

Is no one else sad about losing Thompson? He’s been great for us and still better on the wing than Jennings, imo.

In a way, yes I am sad to see him go. He did a job here, and was in the crop of players helping the club pull itself up by the bootstraps, he had the ticker that would have made some of the more talented less enthusiastic players around him much better players. That being said, I did say that if the club was serious about being more competitive then him not being in the FG team by the end of his contract would be a good indicator. Not sold on Jennings myself but he was serviceable last weekend, and we can't be carrying two shorter wingers with the contest rules now.

If they have offered him that sort of coin, I hope he takes it. He gets to play first grade for $166K a year, he's mad not to go.

Surely dragons can’t hold onto Saab. He’s asked for a release and he wants out how long can they deny him? Only way they can try fix it is by starting him on the wing in the future games, and he probably deserves the spot anyway.
