I'm thinking Aitken or Naden as the Centre,And takairangi as the 2nd row/centre

I don’t rate Taka. Naden is a solid player

Double.

Naden imo is not a Maguire player. Maguire is all about discipline.

He’s pretty quick and powerful. Has some issues in defence but can play wing or centre. He’s not bad but doesn’t stand out to me so just solid

His discipline in the past has let him down. The commentary team mentioned something about it yesterday.

im nervous with these sacking a club may target Madge

Don’t be nervous Jedi...Madge knows his onto something great here at the WT and backs his coaching abilities of self belief/loyalty/confidence that will win the playing group over and fans alike - after all who has more passion then us WestsTigers fans...

And I also think any coach that goes to the Broncos is a walking dead man and will be the fall guy to all their issues at the moment, needs a broom swept through it from the top to bottom (if I was a share holder in the Broncos pty Ltd I’d be demanding it- show me the money) Seibold thought he was going to get the easiest gig coaching, well didn’t that back fire superbly.?

I will add to this with some positive signings and with the COE coming on line later next year a settled club with good sponsorship and a strong owner Madge would be getting the feeling that some very positive vibes are going to be unleashed .

Currently in the mix with 3 players but all contracted. Back line depth the major concern.
Centre, Wing & a 2nd Row/Centre are there positions.
Sam McIntyre close to signing 2 year extension.
Alex Seyfarth unlikely to be retained, good chance to also be loaned to the Warriors.
Esienhuth was not going to be offered a contract but that has since changed, although 1 year deal likely.

given that all of these are for the immediate future, what are madge's plans for 2021? is he after a 6 and a front rower? any major signings in the works, or is he happy with the squad?

If we keep McIntyre and Eiso, plus Stefano coming next year I don’t think we would target any more props. We need second rowers I reckon.

Prefer Burton.

I personally dont think Burton is up to standard .. he's had one or two games for the Riff and looked pretty pedestrian like out there .. he's too slow at everything he does. .. just my thoughts .. a no thanks to Burton.

Corret .. forwards next season: Aloiai, Musgrove, Mikaele, Garner, Eisenhuth, Blore, McIntyre, Leilua, Clarke, and maybe Packer (after last weekends game) and then Stefano coming .. wow we are gonna have a good pack.

Would love CHN to add to our second row and really round out the pack but it seems he’s going to Canberra. We will need a second rower though so let’s see who madge targets

If Eiso gets re-signed he’ll just go back to his usual plodder self his a waste of a signing, surely we can sign someone else...I have to say Eisenhuth has had ample opportunities to prove himself prior to his contract running out and has only decided to show up in the last 5mins of it...So that’s a big no thanks from me.

Would he take just a one-year deal? I reckon he'll get a longer term offer somewhere else.

Lafai officially released by Dragons. Hope we don’t sign him 😂 maybe only for a 10 game contract but nothing longer than that

Interesting that Pom said that Seyfarth isn't being resigned. Only a few weeks ago Maguire was saying how hard he works at training and that playing firsts was a reward for that.

Guess he was advertising him to other clubs by doing so? Would have thought they'd continue to invest in him after all this time.

He’ll be struggling for a spot with the forward stocks we’ve got next year. Would rather Joey Ratu takes his spot or signing someone else. Seyfarth will be picked up by someone else for sure though

He was the weakest of the young brigade which were given a chance this year. He did not impress from what I’ve seen and yes, on that form, he would be struggling to make a decent go at NRL level any time soon.
If he’s given a chance with Warriors for remainder of this year, and things change, then we can reconsider.
