Fair call. Surely players can see changes being made though. Give it a couple of years I guess.

I hope so, I think we’ve done well with our signings over the past 12 months but I’d love a couple of real game breakers to take us to the next level. We struggle to sign top players.

Most clubs already have good training facilities, ours will bring us into line but won't give us a great advantage over others

The leading try scorer in the Nrl from a team running 9th
He must be doing something right
I would be OK with the top 2 leading try scorers in my team on the wings
But problem is both Nofoaluma and Katoa play the same wing
One would have to move over

Yep no chance. As I said yesterday it will be Roosters for his swansong and no doubt he will go out with another premiership ring. You can see it coming a mile away, it’s just what these elite players do.

If SBW ends up at the Rorters PVL should have a press conference and explain to every supporter of the game how they were able to manage it

I know, it is very disheartening to see a good player on the market, and we never get them here, yet wooden spoon teams can attract good players

I can only assume it's our training premises - we've often heard in the past what a joke it is, and you see it on players social media.

Gutted we missed out on CHN - wonder how hard we went there. He is a really good player, for what I'd assume would be a very good price.

CHN was never a chance. He was picked in the Kiwi touring side a couple of years ago and Madge punted him after two days. Was said to be an injury but .... Was punted by the Panthers at the same time with two years to go on his contract. Then the Dogs incident. Good luck.

Farnworth covers 1 and arguably 2, Johnston or Saab wouldn't go astray either for raw speed. in terms of gun playmakers, Foran fits the bill if he stays fit, which is obviously a massive issue. Cade Cust is a slick playmaker, but has reportedly re-signed with Manly. Blake Green could be excellent for Brooks, but it's anyone's guess where he ends up.

We won't find one in the tree
Try looking at your Grass Roots
More chance of finding one

Cotric, we couldn't land Latrell offering $500k more than souths

I agree that Cotric is a good player, but if we start paying $600-700K , for wingers we are screwed. Let the Bulldogs repeat their recent mistakes.

I wouldn’t be complaining about missing out on Latrell. AD is playing twice as well for half the coin.

Hindsight is wonderful, plenty wanted him here, some suggesting we go as high as $1.4m, we offered plenty ***and got rejected, we even went back with a bigger offer and got rejected again,*** lets see how JAC contracts go, the way of CHN I would expect, something is amiss

Dont get the truth get confused with paper or forum talk. The story out of the club was ALWAYS that they made a large offer and THE CLUB withdrew that offer based on his lack of response. The Club stated numerous times that no other offer was made. They repeatedly said that if Latrell was interested he could come to them and he never did obviously.

IMO the club handled it well and we dodged a bullet. Douiehi isnt the be all and end all but IMO he is a massive step up from anything we have had since Teddy and was relatively cheap.
