Yep Minichiello couldn't catch a cold in his early years at the Roosters. When it comes to youth there has to be patience.

Is that how many games you expect him to be suspended for next year?He has a terrible record at the donkeys so how would him being here make any positive difference?I suppose he could hold Packers hand in the grandstand each week watching the game.

He plays with a lot of aggression which sometimes gets him in trouble, something that our pack has lacked for a while is an aggressor if Madge can help him use that aggression in the right manner he would be our best forward in the team hands down... he’s only 24, maturity in his game is what’s stopping him from being one of the best forwards in he game and that maturity can come with the right coaching

Maturity on and off the park seems to be Pangai's problem. Sometimes a coach can't fix that, if the bloke is an imbecile he may way stay that way regardless.

You don't sign a kid for 3.5 years without thinking he has some talent. He needs to be given 5-10 games to settle in before judging... He made 13 runs and 162m on debut as well... Errors would of been from nerves plus your team getting pumped doesn't help.

Didn't get man handled...seemed to have the strength and made metres post contact.

Without the errors, it was a solid debut.

Bit of an off night across the park so can't single him out.

It’s like throwing a young kid (18 year old) into the 100m olympics. Obviously they are very talented to get there in the first place, but you can’t expect them to dominate the field first up.

Asu, Talau, Blore, Stef etc are obviously long term projects

first we've heard of Brooks being on the chopping block which I found interesting. Phelps' mail was horrendous in terms of cap money but I wonder if he got right who has been shown the door.

Where was that reported about Brooks?

Tele this morning one of the high paid members being shopped or told they can look around .. about time Brooks was put on the reject list in public !

If true, Cleary had no difficulty getting the best from him.

Why can't Maguire?

We won't get a halfback of his quality in the market.

Plenty of coaches available including Payten.

lol the reason so many coaches are available is that there aren't many good ones. Even Sir Cleary was unemployed for a year.
