Thanks Pom, great news on the signings, but just as great the numbers sticking at 30. It means hopefully we can retain Eiso and McIntyre.

Oh wow I wanted us to sign Hetherington a couple of years ago, so this is great news. The guy is as mad as and just what we need in our pack, imo.

I'll say this one thing about Benj, he is my favourite all-time Wests Tiger player, just from the magic he could produce back around when we won the comp. I hope he stays involved with the club.

Hetherington, AND Tamou, AND JAC, that would be almost too good to be true. Just two of them really would be a huge effort by Madge and the Tigers.

So how do we fit JAC, Tamou, Staines and Hetherington into our cap next year with a little over $1m available according to reports. Or am I missing something?

Things starting to look up. We need some leadership in the forwards, Aloiai has been a one man army in that regard this year and our most experienced prop is a dud who struggles to crack 15 metres a game when selected. Tamou will certainly add some leadership to the forward pack and provides more of an opportunity to have more impact off the bench with the likes of Mikaele, Musgrove and Stefano all fighting for positions.

Hetherington, Staines and this young Simpkins kid would be the icing on the cake for next season. Staines either walks his way onto the wing, or he's fighting it out with JAC for the fullback spot. Simpkins is a 6"4 monster who at 18 and 105kg is still growing and could be anything. Hetherington hits the line hard and plays with plenty of aggression, something we lack in the middle. Sounds like there's some work to be done to get all 3, but if we get 1 or two of them, it's a win. I suspect if Reynolds encounters any commonsense in the next week or two and decides to go to the UK, then we've got the money to get all three.

Talau has good pace for a centre. I think he has been hampered by a hamstring injury. It's hard to stretch out if you lack confidence. He will be a cracking player at centre. Kepaoa and Talau are a potent combination.
