Staines, Hetherington & Tukimihia Simpkins on the cards.
Sam McIntyre to be submitted extension this week.
If we can release a few “undesired” players & $$ is freed up there won’t be much more movement.

Assume that means that all other off contract players are being told sayonara?


If Sam Mc is only one being retained.

The ones with contacts finishing this year and assumingly being let go are:

Oliver Clark
Matt Eisenhuth
Robert Jennings
Alex Seyfarth
Dylan Smith

Elijah Taylor (made public)
Benji Marshall (announced)
Chris Lawrence (retired)
Harry Grant (loan)

The retention of top 30 squads might save Eisenhuth.

Now the NRL is keeping squads lists as 30 for next year but dropping cap by 10%. This is going to make things very interesting !!
At Least 3 clubs have spent near the full 2021 cap.
Player movement frenzy in the off season.

Do they have to be 30? Can the clubs choose to have less?

All clubs will have to have a top 30.

I’m sure that will change plans of a number of clubs.

Thanks @THE_POM good to get some news, Tamau is 32 this year, I am a little skeptical, but rather hopeful. JAC, Staines and Hetherington would be a good return from where we are now though.

What are the interests from the players side in terms of signing on, re McIntrye and Eisenhuth. Are they looking around for a bigger deal or more keen to stick with the Tigers?
I guess I should ask the same re Nofoaluma, bit of chatter is he might test the market?

I believe Hetherington has the ability to be a top 5 forward in. RL once he undergoes a Maguire initiation/transition workshop.
