You won't believe it, but I just pulled out of a Luncheon this week to ensure I can get away early Friday to see the 20's, and now the organizer tells me Sheens has just confirmed as the Guest Speaker?!

Waerea-Hargreaves would be a great buy IMO as well as Manu both big units .

as for the players WT have their eye on Im not gonna post them until i get word that talks are official… i went over this with willow last night how ever i will let people know via PMs for the time being if they cant wait...trust me with the couple of names mentioned im doing you a favor as you will have your work cut out for you.....

As for sika manu the club has contacted melbourne about his situation and whether they will release him....nothing concrete just an inquiry...i only brought this up with willow and fergifurr lastnight thats why i though this thread was suspicious.....

Geo, Mason isn't a stupid idea. While I would rather develop our current stocks, if he wanted to return on a downgraded contract, he would be a handy addition on the bench. He plays that impact role well.

The problem is, the Cowgirls have probably offered the right price for his value to any other club, knowing they will keep him. He's not worth over $200k

If the Tigers sign any new player, Im sure they'll announce it before he pulls on a jersey, so I'm sure i wont miss anything.

The Tigers may very well be in with a shot to snare Manu if they have enough coin. There's an article in today's SMH highlighting the Storm's salary cap plight and it reveals that Ryan Hoffman, Anthony Quinn, Jeff Lima, Adam Blair, Brett Finch and Sika Manu would all be released if they can find other NRL clubs to pick them up.

Just as Smeg said, this thread is a Ron Burgandy "look at me" thread. Tigers have not approached Melbourne about Manu at all and Lawrence hasn't re-signed yet.

Bummer. Regardless of whether the Tigers are/are not interested in Manu, I'd love to see Lawrence re-sign.
