I have supported the Tigers for pver 30 years and always thought the 89 GF was the saddest day I can recall, but this is much, much sadder.

Great kid and just a damm shame. He and woods would have been our siro and blocker of this generation together. Simon was the beat forward prospect we have had since Siro senior came through. Absolutely tragic on every level.

Whenever I think of poor Barb, it really puts things into perspective re: RL & WTs

In the photo on the Foxsports site he is sickeningly skinny. It makes me really sad.

Even skinnier in person. Very sad.

Simons injury was just a million to one freak injury

Really was a shame he was getting a lot of consistancy in his game and had the world at his feet

Pretty glad he is still in the mix at tigers. Really good by the club.

So sad loved him, was really good and him siro, and woods would've been a magical combination

I often see him sitting in the coaches box at home games, glad to see the club keeping Simon involved.

He's also quite the poker player, winning a competition last year which netted him around $50k. Glad to see he is still involved with the Tigers and I wouldn't discount him from perhaps getting into coaching further down the track given he spends a lot of time around FG coaching staff in the box during games.

Dunno if you know this but he was assistant coach for the City Country game I believe. He's already entered into that role

Ink, that right there is one of my all time faveourite rugby league moments not just Wests Tigers.

Brilliant hit that should've won us that final!

Simon would undoubtedly have had to endure many very dark moments, but what a positive attitude he is able to show. How could anyone wish him anything than the very best.

Real Sad
Havent we lost 2 of the best there were due to injuries
Simon and Tuks .. If they were still wearing WT colours ….....................................
