This is the best news I have heard all week! Like many other forumers, as much as I would love to see him take back to the paddock, him getting back full strength and being 100% safe, fit and healthy is exactly what the young kid deserves. I am honestly inspired by Simon after what he has been through and how much optimism he still has about his future NRL career after everything and I have no doubt he will put back on the Wests Tigers jersey.Good on you Simon, you are a true hero and I can't wait to see you healthy again. Just love when you read positive posts on the forum. Simon has along way to go and with fans supporting him it will make it easier for him. From my point of view, watching him day in and day out it is hard, but for him he takes it as another day and step forward to recovery.

The injury to Simon was unique to Australian sport but apparently is not uncommon in the NFL, like everyone on the forum I dearly want to see Simon turn out for the Tigers again but what is the risk of the injury re-occuring?.
