I think a lot of people have forgotten what a great player Liddle is, personally I think he has more to offer the club then Grant it’s just unfortunate for Jacob injuries have held him back.

While I agree about how good Liddle is, I don't think anyone can compare to Grant.

In fact, and maybe because it hurts that he is so temporary, I don't think people realise how good Grant is.

I'm glad we have Liddle, and the potential of another superstar in Simpkin to soften the blow - and do agree we shouldn't be spending here.

Oh! well if Grant goes back to Melbourne, we will have Simpkin. I'm starting to get tired of this Simpkin is potentially a superstar - he hasn't played ONE single NRL game AS YET. He maybe an absolute NRL dud.

Yeah it's not exactly a position of need right now. Even with Grant we've lost most of our games.

I saw Simpkins play in the Penrith trial ( Not NRL ) and he looked very good with his passing and darts out of dummy half. He is quite stocky and with a full pre season he should get a run early next year if we dont keep Grant. Grant has a great football IQ and can sense what is happening and in most instance has taken the correct options this year and defensively he has been exceptional. I would love to keep Harry but not at his new asking price. Would be happy to loan Talau for him for a year to benefit both clubs and players.

Has Simpkin actually played a game of footy this year, except in training? Man 2020 is going to hinder young players development. Never seen him play but he could be really starting behind the 8 ball.

Agreed 2020 is going to set a few players back, however on the flip side you could argue all this extra time could have been spent building his body physically - something he may not have got if he was playing week to week?

Guess we won't know until we start seeing these juniors play regular first grade.

Simpkin to me as of yet is another lad who might make it, might not. Currently Liddle has it of course until Simpkin forces his way in.
