Watched the game this evening, and I tell you what, if Potter develops him as a second rower, I hope that he and Liam run drills with the halves as well as the donkey work…. they both have the hand skills to draw and pass at the line, and it would keep the defence thinking. Neither are big enough yet to muscle it up, but they dont need to, we are potent out wide, so they dont have to be stand alone, one trick pony battering rams.
Play the game by utilising the skillset of the players on hand rather than force a style upon them kind of gig.
