Clubs try and measure out contracts
You don't want say Farah ,Tedesco ,Sironen and Brooks coming off contract all in the same season if you can help it
If true we only have one piece in the puzzle left , but possibly the biggest and most important piece

Makes sense. Didn't we have an option for next year anyway with Siro? So we would be taking up the option and upgrading for an extra 3 years.
As Happy said, not a good idea to have several good young players off contract at the same time. Especially because some of these players are potentially future origin players, making it much harder to retain them all at once.
Again, the last real piece to the puzzle is Tedesco.

Sirro could be anything in a year or two. Incredible size, terrific ball playing skills, and decent pace. What is he - 20 years old? 4 years is perfect. It is a risk with injuries etc, but, staying optimistic, it keeps the wolves away from our door for a decent time. Good for all concerned.
