Sironen or Lovett?

Send Sirro to the Lawrence School of Line Running and we might finally see him living up to his potential. He has more upside than Lovett, that's for sure.

Sirro by a mile.
He is going to be a very good NRL player. whether he makes it to SOO or International is open as it tends to get a bit political once you get up there.

However, he is a very good defender, he actually hurts in some of his tackles.
In attack he can be very good, once he gets a few games under his belt again and a permanent centre and winger with him - the off loads will come. That is what he does best. I remember a ripper in the Dragons game that Brooks starred in.

On the other hand Lovett is a plodder, hard worker in defence in respect of a quantity of tackles but unfortunately they are not quality. No hurting (wouldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding), just ordinary tackles and a few of these are shirt grabbing misses that a lot of the time lead to tries.
As for attack - there isn't any. Goes forward 6-7 metres and gets pushed back 5 metres.

Lovett is a release for me.

its quite simple in my opinion. both great players, one has far more experience than the other.

51 games for sirro and 16 for lovett and it shows

both will come good, along with liolevave. we just need to be a bit patient (im as sick of hearing it as you are but its the truth) and get these guys working together under a structure which is what JT is trying to do. hence our defence being better than last year.

whether he has what it takes to bring us to a top 4/premiership within 3 years i dunno, but unless bellamy is offering i think we should stick with him for a bit longer

Sironen has been playing busted I am hoping this is his baseline game. That performance needs to be the minimum standard he dishes up. The kid is a monster should dominate.

Lovett is years away from first grade standard in my view. Hits the line and drops like he hit a wall ala Ben Lowe of Souths.

I thought Sironen was the sole reason our right hand side defense improved. He played really well, ran out of steam a bit at the end but stands out in our pack as someone who can go to the next level.

Can see him improving enough to be in and around the Oirgin team in a year or two.

As for Lovett well anyone a fan of the Walking Dead, once he gets tired its all arms.

He is a zombie plodder.

Love the Walking Dead. Can't wait for season 6 to start…
