I've tried my hardest to give him a go this yr, and not be so hard on him, but watching him last night, it just confirmed for me why i've never rated him. He's the definition of a plodder who suffers a serious case of feet for hands at times. If you were to look at some of the best young back rowers this club has had come through, idk how you'd rank him in the top 10\. Dwyer looked 10 times the player he did before his injury.

How many years did Dwyer play in the backs?

How many years dis he play in back row?

Might have something to do with it.

It could. Or maybe, Siro is just a plodder. First he was always injured, and never had a pre-season, that's the excuse people were using for him. They can't use that anymore, so now it's he's playing out of position. What will be the next excuse when this one runs its course?

I think he is yet to have a preseason due to groin surgery last year. No need for excuses as he is doing exactly what the coach is asking of him. Whether that is a good thing, well that is another matter.

And yes you had backed off, even praising him once early in the season.

I was out last night without a good view of the game, but judging by his stats (16 hitups for 120m, 31 tackles without a miss) he had his best game this season. Surely he wasn't that bad?

For as long as I can remember, this guy has been talked up as a future superstar.

He'll play for Australia, they said. He will be a great player, they said. He'll play Origin, they said.

Has there been a more hyped player in the last decade? For all the hype, he has been abysmal. No impact in attack or defence, easily dominated, doesn't strike any sort of fear into the opposition.

A good lesson for all who pin their hopes on junior stars. It means nothing until they do it in first grade.

What do you think of him otherwise?

He is a perfect Wests Tigers player, all hype, no substance.

Bayley is a better Player then Curtis.

Disagree strongly.

Fans will like him though, he is a tough bugger, always goes hard.

I think Curtis is a very good player, much more skillful than Bayley.

I think he is unfairly maligned on here.

To quote Yoda…there ..is ...a..no...ther....SI,,RO...NEN.....

He needs to catch the crash ball near the line. Lacks courage on contact and gets dominated too often of his size. Needs to lift his game involvement, power and aggression.

What do you think he's offering right now?

his heart & soul - unless you spoke to him and know any differently

Well it's too bad that effort alone isn't the only thing that's required in a first grade rugby league side.

he's no superstar - put it that way

Sadly many people who's opinion is unfortunately valued - like Tallis and Bob Fulton - seem to believe otherwise.

There is another one coming…don't worry...

Bayley is a Gun...getting in early

One of our workers is a very good family friend of the Sironens. He told me 2-3 years ago that Bailey is 10 times the player Curtis is. By all reports, everyone agrees.

Sironen needs to lift his game or NSW cup will be his next destination. He looks amateurish compared to other second rowers.
