Sirro...

Just wanted to give a shout out to Sirro. I think he has really turned his game around, rather than being pivot in a second rowers body, he is starting to look like a real back rower!

I thought he struggled last year and I think that was both partly due to injury and a less than strong desire to play "in the pigs". The final game of 2014 though, he showed some glimpses of what he could be and really has started 2015 well. He has broken the line numerous times ( he is probably our most dangerous ball runner atm)and has shown that he can offload as well. His defence has been strong a well and I have noted he can hit very, very hard.

Well done young Sirro! Keep it up.

Yeah he looks very likely!!

He still hasnt had that WOW game yet but damn he is playing consistently good footy and has been so close to setting up a try or scoring one himself it isnt funny.

Still don't see it.

May i suggest it may be time to head off and get some specs.

Really strong ones!!

I wish my vision was the problem.

May I suggest, judging by sirros pass after his only decent break was to a parra player that maybe, just maybe the prodigal son may need some specs?

Specsavers, give them a call mate

I know you have the right to an opinion but geee you must be looking for the wrong things if you still don't see it.

Peter Sterling, Brad Fitler, Andrew Johns, Phil Gould and even tonight Matty Johns have commented on how highly they rate him and how good he is going to be.

Open your eyes and you just might see it..

The real shame is people who live in the past.

If his name was Curtis smith you fan girls (Simon ) wouldn't say a positive word about the kid.

He's bog average with a reasonable step for his size. He's had plenty of first grade chances and done basically nothing. He will eventuate to a plodder that wouldn't make any top 10 team starting lineup.

Like I said, I wish I was wrong, you know, cause I support wests tigers.

With all due respect mate I'll take the opinion of Sterling, Johns, Gould and Fitler over yours any day of the week. You obviously have no idea when your opinion is in stark contrast to 4 of the smartest minds in the game so I'd suggest you keep your clown comments to yourself..

Sounds like the only person living in the past is yourself.

You wish you were wrong?

Wish granted.

You have 2 wishes remaining.

And before this thread degenerates any personal attacks will result in offending posters going on modern preview.

Over the five rounds he has been super consistent. Every game his defensive has been great. He wraps up the player and the ball. The lines he has been running has been a handful for the opposition. He is strong in the tackle, can't ask for much more. He is still young so he hasn't peaked.
The way the game is likely to go in the future (with less interchanges) Siro is a keeper.

I am just hoping that Siro stays injury free because he is starting to come into his own, playing wider suites him and the last few games the signs are really good .

He looks likely and improving. I want to see him have a break-out game. He reminds me of Tedesco in that Tedesco looked likely but not really there and all of a sudden Tedesco became probably our most dangerous player.

I can see Siro becoming a special player but he isn't there yet.

Yesterday he ran for almost 100 meters, 7 tackle busts, and made 33 tackles - That is fantastic for an edge back rower, he will play city country this year and might even scrape a bench spot for Origin if their is a couple of injuries

Tony, you had me up until the part where you said you took guys like Johns and Fittler's opinion over his. No ones asking you to take Tigerbalm's opinion over theirs, but you're more or less saying his opinion means jack. Don't play that card mate. On Sirro, I've liked the look of him this yr. starting to show his potential

I only used that card when he called me a clown because i thought Siro was a gun.

Everyone has the right to an opinion, but i don't think it's fair calling someone a clown based on an opinion which is backed up by 4 of the smatest minds in football.

Fitler and Johns might be knobs but they are footy smart and know what there talking about when they're not trying to be comedians.

Anyway who cares, Sironen is a gun and as you said is starting to deliver on his potential. I wish we could play him at lock, i think we would see him become one of the greatest ever locks. The potential is still huge and can't wait to see him play for NSW.
