I like this bloke. Made the most meters for both teams today (152 meters from 15 carries according to fox sports) and defended well in an unfamiliar position. Certainly something Paterson/Rowe have not been capable of doing. Has heart and hope to see him continue being picked in first grade. Has a future.

On another note, Chris Lawrence had 9 hit ups for just over 30 meters, lol, who said that guy had a future as a second rower???

I agree Aka is very raw… a talent that is unmistakable, though a little loose for our current injury/stability predicament to watch flourish.

Fans just dont understand the extreme level of professionalism needed to cover the mental lapses of the young players, it is a luxury we are not blessed with at present. As a team, we are severly off balance of late, I even see doubt in alot of the senior players.... While on fire we havent a doubt, early season proved as much, we just lack the infectious fortitude that can gloss over the immiture mistakes and re-align confidence.

Yeah e looks a good talent, especially at second row

Err… Not so much on the wing.

Would live to see him on the dank juice with an extra heap of muscle on him

His best game yet in first grade. I liked it when he took the prop like hit ups in the centre early in the game. Plenty of hard metres.

Well he'll only get a month's suspension if he does take the jungle juice , or maybe because his surname isn't Gallen he might get longer

I wish some of our forwards would run the ball the way he does. I rate the guy, he has a lot of improvement in him, but he's looking good.

The guy is a real athlete and we do not have many of them. He just needs to learn his trade and deliver week in and week out and not 20 minutes here and their. Should be a real goer in a year or two

Like the potential of this bloke if he can put on some more muscle in the offseason, it's clear he has plenty of strength and hits hard, just needs to develop consistency.

Only problem might be his body may not carry the extra muscle well , he has that Fulton type frame

Could we be better off trying to get some speed in those legs and turn him into a centre ??

His kick returns were a highlight. If he runs like that as a backrower he'll be streets ahead of Sironen

Not so sure about that happy. 192cm and 100kg? That's a pretty solid build. Bigger than most of our squad! If he could add an extra few kgs of muscle to fill out his frame he could be a best of a backrower. His lateral defence may be too suspect to play out wide though.

He used to play wing in the NYC before moving to the backrow, but yeah, some serious sprint training could possibly make him an option in the centres.

Sounds like he already has the build for a centre - and a few kilos will come onto that naturally as he gets older. Seems to have a good running style and can get through a gap given half a chance.

Regardless of where he plays he had a great attitude on the field - let's hope we don't dull that like has happened to so many before him…
