Slipshenry - please drop him

#2 - Brown
#17 - Fitzhenry

Should not be allowed anywhere near the wing, he's lost what pace he had and he's much smaller than most opposition wingers. He's reliable at fullback, but we have McKinnon now. He should be utilised with 15 minutes to go for his impact from dummy half.

I like him coming off the bench, but not playing the full 80.

Stryker: I too think Blake Lazarus has a lot of potential - but in defence, even in the NSW Cup he defends out at out-side centre, not at half-back. No doubt for good reason - whilst he is no doubt gutsy he is quite lean, even for a half-back. And yes "Balmain Tiger" I agree, DF is the best utility player the WTs have.
As I wrote on a post here earlier this week it made me sick to see and hear so-called tigers supporters boo DF when his appearance was announced over the loudspeaker and big screen the other week in the game against the Raiders.
Next time that happens some us will be be taking notes (and video)

best utility we have

If the coach is serious about progressing in the finals the favourite son has to be moved on sorry there is no room for this guy offers very little …...promote a younger/faster /stronger player! so in reality if he is still selected the Coach is not serious about putting the best people on the park because IMO Fitzhenry is past it he was struggling big time last night with the pace of the game.

Fitzy didn't have his best game, but after his solid performances in the prior rounds, he doesn't deserve to be dropped. There were plenty out there tonight that also offered nothing.

That said, Mitch offers more and should be getting a run on the wing first. Just have Fitzy off the bench, give him his 10 minute run, and get brown into the run on side. Fitzy does have good utility value.

I agree to an extent. He did have a terrible game last night and maybe he deserves to be dropped but I could almost sense the Fitzy bashers standing in the shadows with their baseball bats ready to get stuck in.

He's been okay for most of the year, last night his effort was poor.

Interesting to listen to Tunksy on Talkin Sport - says Fitzy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a first grade side - says its obvious Sheens plays favourites ie fitzy and yanking fifita from the field when half the team were woeful.

Fitzy has been good this year but on last nights performance he shouldn't be on the wing because Mitch Brown is a better player on the wing.

I think Fitzy's best position is as a utility or maybe at fullback. He shouldn't be in the starting squad but coming on in the last 15 minutes in a utility role he can offer something.

Personally I would have 4 forwards on the bench but I can understand one back on the bench. If we have a back Fitzy is probably the best choice.

Fulton or flanagan would be far better choices for the fourth bench spot. Our backs are all very versatile and not one position can't be fixed if someone is injured.

I agree….Seems obvious doesn't it...Only the best chioce if all goes to plan and it's 3 mins....

Hope Sheensy has a look at the tape this Week ...

Thats the point. Even in his good games (which generally just means he didnt drop the ball) Fitzy is really only "okay", yet somehow thats good enough. Talk about satisfaction with mediocrity.

I still think Rhys Pritchard deserves a shot off the bench as the back utility. He trains with the top squad, he's got plenty of pace, he's a bit bigger than Fitzy and can play fullback, wing, centre, five eigth. Brown deserves to start on the wing next week.

A couple bad games after some brilliant games and the bashers are back. I propose a compromise, don't select him in 2010 when its wet.
