So who are the genuine premiership contenders?

Not us, so I lose interest after the final round.

But I think the Storm and Broncos. Dragons if they can keep Widdop on the park are my outside chance at making the final.

Easier to name the teams that won't win it

Dragons
Dogs
Raiders
Cowboys
Sharks
Parra

Broncos, Storm or Roosters

Storm, Sharks and Easts are the only three I see getting their paws on it.

Canberra have been found out somewhat I think. Saints going well but not quite there.

Storm
Sharks
Roosters
Bronco's
St George

Cowboys ?
Raiders?
Manly?
Penrith?

The rest are a bunch of mediocre teams just battling away.
Parra
Dogs
Titans
Warriors
Rabbits
Us
Newcastle

As the week's go by and as I watch more sides the more I'm seeing some really poor footy sides.
Dragons, Raiders, Panthers, Dogs, Warriors, Souths, have all been playing some terrible football.
I'm starting to think Parra are a chance, at least they show some commitment and aggression in defence and run hard with the ball.
If only we could of put something together this year, there's so many ordinary teams running around

Look at the quality of Melbournes replacement players used when their stars are missing. Their system is so clinical and professional that they step in and you forget the star is missing.
Barring an injury crisis they will be ridiculously hard to beat.

I can't believe that a near full strength Roosters outfit only just managed to pip the Storm, who were playing without their big 3 tonight! Bloody amazing! Bellamy is an incredible coach. I think it could actually be a replay of last year's Grand Final with a different result.
