The Saints game really would of taken it out of them They were lethargic , and I reckon Sam got it wrong personnel and positioning wise

Top it off Amalfitano has a brain explosion and will be sitting out the next three weeks Don't blame him , he is a far better option than Nolan whose days hopefully are numbered

As I said , I would of written this game off , our next 3 EPL games are Spurs ,Chelsea and Arsenal

They were bloody awful last night and as I said I just couldn't understand why Allardyce just didn't rest the majority of the squad with the big games they have coming up

Cresswell and Jenkinson really got caught out wide

Hopefully Reid and Ginge will be back soon

Hobbo it was really interesting listening to the commentators last night , sounds like the Adabayor deal was kiboshed at the very last minute as we were offloading Carlton Cole to WBA and they literally cancelled the deal with minutes in the transfer window to go when Spurs changed their mind
