I watched Leicester absolutely destroy Man United 5-2 earlier this season and you just wonder why a club can play like that occasionally and not repeat it

They have only won 3 home games this season , but haven't been beaten by more than 2 all season

I think that Chelsea are the only other side that can say that

And they are on the bottom of the table ??

Yeah you are spot, consistency has been there Achilles heel.

See, to be one of those clubs where the whole team can't seem to fire at once.

To be fair, that Man U game saw 7 forwards on the field and playing with a back three, so they murdered us on the counter. It was the last time LVG used a back three formation IIRC. And the score was 5-3 :wink:

Crap weekend for me. Sydney FC choked last night against Adelaide and Bilbao got ambushed in the first 20 against Sevilla and lost 2-0\. Muniain is out for a decent period by the looks of things as he did his knee in (the replay looked like an ACL,) so I'd say our season is shot now and we'll be lucky to finish above 10th spot.

At least United got up against Aston Villa. Funnily enough former Bilbao player Ander Herrera scored twice for them.

I Emailed Leeds during the week and told them it's been a while since happy , hobbo and Geo have given me a bit of Banter about Leeds . So they obviously passed the message on. :mrgreen:

My cousins from England have shown up in Qld early and we caught up with them

He was / is a Leeds supporter also but now lives in Norwich so also supports the Canaries

Just before they came out he went and watched Norwich play Leeds and had both shirts on :roll

Mixed weekend for me.
The pitiful low of Glory being booted from the finals and then rolling over to Sydney FC (Unless Sage and the board go I will be looking for a new A League team to support - Can't support cheats)

Then my mood lifted with this morning's 4-2 spanking of City. Bring on Chelsea.

Yeah i read that yesterday, Massimo Cellino is a crook mate. 5 weeks ago he sacked Thompson our Assistant Coach to Neil Redfearn for reason never explained and from then we have been on a 5 game loosing streak which Redfearn claims that it has had an unsettling affect on the squad. Before that we went on a 11 game undefeated streak.
Cellino has been banned from the FL since January cause he's still fighting a Tax fraud and is not allowed back to Elland Rd till May, with further Court cases pending.
How he passed the FL owners test at the beginning of January last year is beyond me, he had Court cases pending in Italy but was allowed to own Leeds. Then last year the FL tried to stand him down till Court Cases were resolved but he contested the FL saying innocent till proven guilty and got away with it till January this year.

At the end of it all it's the fans that suffer the most.

Bournemouth have 2 games left and if they win tomorrow morning vs Bolton will be Promoted cause of the superior goal difference they have , what a story that will be 2 Promotions 2 years running hope they do it .
