Pretty hard to argue that he's improved every player that's come to the club. I'll wait and see on Tonali, but beating Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Forest, and drawing with City, considering the limitations of the squad is a fair achievement. Now, if Callum Wilson manages to play more games this season than Matt Ballin, we could be in with a shot for Top 5.
 
Full time ; Socceroos 0-0 v Saudi.
Slightly disappointing but one point better than none, and shows we are still competitive with the major teams in Asia.
Now off to Bahrain to hopefully punish them for beating us in the first leg. We could do with some plus numbers in our for/ against.

Extra time after 90 mins was ever so close - for both - to score the winner, which just did not come.
First, the Saudis "scored" only to be denied by the VAR, then McCree for Australia missed a bicycle kick in the last minute or so.
Great finish - but no cigar!

Never saw the offside that denied the Saudis a goal...Did any TV outlet show the reply where the imaginary line is drawn to show offside?? Game was good in patches, but didn't reach any high intensity until the end. Should be a different game over there.

I never saw any "line" to confirm the offside.
