Vardy was unlucky to get a red card last night imo
I think your in for a long season.
I'm not sure of Pellegrini's thought process FT
We needed a holding /defensive midfielder out there from the start and we signed one in Carlos Sanchez
We started with 4 passing midfielders
They were tearing Bournemouth apart in last 25 minutes after Bournemouth early good start , but every time we turned the ball over Bournemouth looked dangerous on the counter
1-0 lead at H/T but Bournemouth controlled the 2nd half and scored 2 goals in 6 minutes
But this is the crazy thing , after we go down 2-1 , Pellegrini then throws on Sanchez , bit like closing the gate after the cattle have all bolted
I'm not all gloom and doom just yet , new coach , 10 new players and it will take time for combinations
Problem is we face Man U , Arsenal , Tottenham , Man City ,Everton and Chelsea in the next 7 weeks 😱pen_mouth:
You guys remind me of Everton last season, brought in a tonne of new toys and the manager wants to play with them all at once. Not sure on the end game for the Hammers here, the manager is a short term option yet they want to rebuild the club. Would have been better off going for a younger manager who can stay for 5+ years and model the team. Someone like Eddie Howe or Sean Dyche would have been a good appointment.
That said, once the manager figures out his best XI and tactics you will probably cruise into the top half.
