On a train and trial he'd be ok. Or if we somehow offload all of Naden and Toa then is a shootout for spots between sol and Feledy.

Getting better every week at centre. With another preseason he could be a real weapon for us. Hopefully he is re-signed, if he isn’t already.

Poor bugger was put to the slaughter when he was asked go defend on the wing for a few games.

I’ve been a fan of his D at centre, (compared to what we have), but he missed 6 tackles last game. Hopefully that’s his worst.

I agree, it’s light years ahead of Kepaoa and it’s getting better.

We also should remember he came in mid January so has never had a full nrl pre season so that means he probably has more improvement in him then others.

If he stays we would need to drop Feledy or Saukuru out of our top 30 to bring him in

I also like him from the start , couple things mentioned and he will improve with a bit more time
no Pre season prior
came from a lower grade comp than NRL
had to play wing which he is not
in and out of the top team gives him no time to gel
Big off season this year coming , stay as a centre he will improve , he is pretty quick , solid , and does dirty hit ups and also physical in defence , he just needs to learn more and will be very handy , I think he can hold a top spot in our team , extend x 2 years $ 250 b $ 300

Could we put him on a Development Deal for another season? I know Lobb was signed up for 2 years of it. I guess it depends who else we have in mind for those spots.

This pre-season coming up is the biggest one yet. Coming off the back of 3 spoons, we need the players to get absolutely flogged and come back in fitter, stronger and better physical condition than ever before. The lack of physicality in our defence is telling in most of our games. If Faatape and basically the whole squad who are in and around 1st grade can improve areas above it will put us in a much better position.

Yeah big of Faatape, he's nuggety and tries hard and has come up with some good touches. Good depth player.

I still believe that the main problem with us is our terrible defence, once that's fixed we win (hopefully) !!

Yeah well the fact that he doesn’t have flipper hands and didn’t need eye surgery to see puts him in front before he walks on the field.

The big thing with Faatape is he must play centre. HE CAN NOT PLAY WING

I think both Sione Fainu and Solomona Faataape are worth keeping and note neither of them listed in our 2025 contracts list .

I like Faatape. Handy player has a real crack and got plenty of FG experience this year. Worth persisting with IMO

Alaimolo has no contract for next year and hopefully we let him go.
Lobb we signed on a two year Dev Contract so he is here next year on that.
