Some feedback

I was at the WT merchandise store at Concord Oval this morning picking up a few presents and got chatting to the staff there for about 30 minutes…I asked a few questions about the club like when and where the new training facilities will be and whats's the vibe around the place like...

Training facilities: The club is waiting for confirmation of a NSW Gov grant which will support the development of new facilities or relocation....building of a new training facility at Campbelltown is no longer on the cards...

Team Comrade: The boys are a real happy bunch this year, staff said it is so noticeable how different the vibe is around the place compared to past years...comments like the boys have lunch together; do extra training together and socialise together whereas in the past there were small groups of guys that hung out together...now it appears to be one HAPPY group....They said the boys all have smiles of their faces and all appear happy...

Good news indeed...thought I'd share the feedback with everyone!.

Wishing everyone on here a Merry Christmas !

Do you mean "would HAVE" been better off????????
I think this is a stand-along thread that does not need to be lumped into the Happy christmas thread. A bit picky there …
Oh, and Merry christmas to you too ...

Thanks for the info Alexaki,I bet the boys would be even happier if they got a few reinforcements before the 2015 kick off,I know I would be happier.

you were talking to the staff for 30 minutes. Doesnt say much for merchandise sales. Makes sense that its expensive.

Don't underestimate the importance of moral. Personally this thread is music to my ears and thanks to the OP for posting it.

Yes we have heard similar stuff on the past about the group being happy, but this is a a direct comparison to last year from people who see them a bit. I think we can believe what is said, and it can only be a good thing.

Good to hear about the high morale, …interesting a move is still on the cards shame we are dependant on others here though....I dunno when westconnex begins or how much it will impact on us but the thought of training full time next to a construction site isnt in my ideal ideas when fitness strength and injury mgmnt has been issues for us

Thanks for the feedback alexaki although I am concerned about the club waiting for a government grant, could be a long wait.

I'd have to agree Alex,

From my membership queries to purchasing merchandise the staff have been very helpful.

It's obvious from top to bottom there have been changes made at the club.
Adopting ISC with new jersey designs and having the ANZAC/Heritage Jerseys are all sold out until January. You can see the new range of merchandise is much better from previous years. It's not a coincidence.

The staff ordered in XS size for the white away jersey and a few other ones for me as it is very challenging getting my size in jerseys and organised membership/sponsorship quotes for me as well.

On the field you can see the kids have played together through the lower grades and come from a winning culture and it's nice to see them progress together, which I would say makes the transition easier and as a whole create a stronger bond if they have known each other for a while rather than a club that has bought all their players.

Hopefully this will extend to the field if not this year, the next…
