Souffs......lol

one of the biggest fluke wins I have every seen, though souths have fluked plenty against us in the past!
 
Awesome finish to the game, the Roosters were battered physically by a bigger pack but it was the little guys who made for a grandstand finish to the game, the Roosters were on the wrong end of a few decisions but got the money in the end, great stuff.
 
I was at the game, incredible finish, understandably the chook pen went nuts, the atomsphere after the game was really good.
I enjoyed the game, but the best team clearly lost
 
It's pretty simple, really. It's always possible (though unlikely), that a try can be scored every two minutes. So if you lead by less than two tries with four minutes to play, you can still be beaten.

I went up loud when Mini went in. (I also had the roosters as my roughie of the round) My wife looked at me and said "WTF is wrong with you?? The tigers aren't even playing!!"

Hate $0uff$ with every fibre of my being.

Considering the chooks went down to a bodgy looking 47m field goal from sandow last year, it's almost just desserts for the bunnies.

mouthing off too early…love it!

Reminds me of certain Wests Tigers supporters who were spewing their filth on the live game thread last year in the game v the Warriors in NZ. With 20 to go there were comments such as this team is 'disgusting' and 'gutless'.

Then we came home with a wet sail, showing enormous courage to win......I'd like to say those people learnt their lessons, but they havent....
 
I asked my brother about 20 minutes before fulltime who he was going for and he said the Roosters, I said Souths only because I tipped them.
I then dozed off what would of been seconds after Warea-Hargraves scored and when my brother came in about 30 minutes later, he kept telling me the Roosters won. I didn't believe him until they came back from the ad break on fox, I was shocked at first and then I realised they cost me a tip!! 5 out of 8 still isn't a bad start to the season :wink:

Me too. And if that isn't bad enough, i was going to change my tip to the chooks but left it too late and couldn't change it
 
Did anyone see the footage at full time of that Souffs fan (looked like a wizard out of Harry Potter of something,) who was copping it deluxe from the Chooks behind him, and he turns around and gives them the fist. Had to say that put a smile on my face.
 
I'm not sure I'd agree that Souths were even the better team. Roosters looked like they were moving the Souths pack about pretty well and if it wasn't for their own errors and the fact that they got vigorously seen to by the refs they could have split that defence open much earlier. Souths had lots of grunt but precious little finesse.
