South Sydney vs Sydney Roosters aka Rorters SPOILERS*

Byron has a point. The TWO players we carry into every match to replace Rob are still coming up short.

He does have a point but we weren't successful with Robbie here apart from earlier in his career either. Liddle/McIlwrick still aren't at Robbies level but they are probably costing us 1/2 the amount that Robbie was costing us.

I don't understand the comments calling Robbie a cancer either especially in relation to us losing 3 players who are actually very good players this year who clearly were only after going elsewhere for more money and success rather than trying to win games for our club. I will never view Robbie as a cancer but I will view the 3 prats as cancers.

Maybe costing half the amount (is that combined or singularly?) but I thought the idea was to try to win games that gets bums on seats, sponsorship dollars and TV support. As well another bench spot is taken up unnecessarily. With Mr Ballin gone maybe it is one less on our roster.

I think the main concern is that now with Tedesco not on the field we have no stars for the audience, especially children, to follow.

Yep no butthurt to be seen here.

The greatest butthurt around here is Tedesco, Moses & Woods leaving and their manner of doing so. I have no sour grapes - I am enjoying Robbie play as still plenty of try assists - **6** to Damien Cook's **Zero**, Jacob Liddle **Zero** and Matt McIlwrick **Zero**
https://www.totalfootystats.com.au/nrl-team-stats/wests-tigers#.WWKYjIiGOUk

That Club Zero three could not deal a pair of eights between them. Now we know why Farah was on the extra money, with brilliant kicking, topping tackle counts and an 80 minute player.

Your stats are incorrect.

McIlwrick try assisted Brooks last weekend against Newcastle just for starters + 3 Line breaks
Liddle has scored 2 tries this season + 3 line breaks.
Farah has scored 1 try and made 1 line break.
Damian Cook - who cares?

The stats must have been adjusted for the last game.

We will be fine. Tedesco hasn't won us a lot of games. We will also get other stars. Robbie also wasn't winning us games with Tedesco, Woods & Moses all supposed stars playing for us.

Don't get me wrong I would have kept Robbie here without a doubt. We tried with the other 3 but they had no loyalty at all. Robbie had that.

The no 1 concern for us should be developing a good competitive squad. Stars are probably the last thing that we need.

This year.

Next year I don't believe we'll need Liddle, he can spend the year in ISC playing against men working on his craft. A no frills hooker like McIlwrick will suit us fine giving good service out of dummy half and being defensively sound. Behind Matulino and Packer, our spine is looking to have options like Brooks, Lolo and possibly Watson and some size and speed in the outside backs I don't think we'll require a creative hooker like Farah. Too many cooks and whatnot.

Liddle will be our hooker next year with a utility providing cover from the interchange.

Yeah that's probably more realistic. It was just my opinion.

We do not need a utility. If Liddle or Macca can not play 80 then they are no good to us. Carrying a bench player for the number 9 is ridiculous.
