There you go Souths off to the WSS for 2 yrs at this stage while ANZ is rebuilt. There are few options in Sydney that would allow us to grow Iike the Western Sydney Stadium, and the experience is just growing to be phenomenal there South Sydney CEO said.
Do you think they will move back to a quarter filled ANZ …this IS leadership . Our club will always just make up the numbers ...the WestsTigers are a western Sydney club but again bent over by a club from Southern Sydney .
The WestsTigers are really a club that is intrenched in mediocrity from head office to board level to the playing field ,well done management .
Watch your membership crumble when you force your membership into your 2 inappropriate suburban grounds .,the real winners are the ones that see opportunity and cease the day .
The one word from Souths going to WSS is GROW and this means survival !

Why wouldn't Souths move back to the re-developed SFS while ANZ is re-built (if that really goes ahead)at least they would be playing closer to their core fan base.

Bro you should be employed by WSS you love it more than Wests Tigers.

Do not get the love affair with WSS. Who cares. Give me ANZ.

Have to agree with Snake here. WT sem to be a club who are re-active instead of proactive and they will sit on their hands and procrastinate whilst other clubs get the jump on us as usual and we will be left with stale crumbs.
A deal to be playing out of WSS is most definitely the smart way to go heading forward. Hope we get it done sooner rather than later.

Read somewhere before that well over half of their supporters are based in the west - they won't miss out.

It's looks like we'll have a decision in a fortnight. I can't see anythng but the homebush games moved there and the current number of suburban grounds staying the same.

I thought Allianz was getting rebuilt before ANZ got its refurb.

That deal is over now Souths have moved in another opportunity gone begging … 6 home grounds is the way to go , divided supporter base .
The club can not even give the playing roster a decent training facility .

They've only agreed to play 2 seasons there. We can still get in next year.

ANZ would have to be the worst ground in Australia to watch RL. Why the hell should we be content to play out of that hole?
The only upside is it is easy to get a watered-down overpriced beverage there because the crowds are non-existant. We would be better off playing out of Concord instead of ANZ. At least there would be some semblance of atmosphere.

Souths to the west …west’s to the east ....that must of taken a lot of thought process , do you actually live in Sydney ..do you now where the major population lives do you know that western Sydney will increase larger than Adelaide in the next 10 yrs , have you tried to drive or move into the city on weekends ..there are some of us not many actually want our club to succeed and become a force in Sydney we have actually traded in our Phillips jerseys for WestsTigers jerseys and we see what actually is happening ..yes I will not stop posting the same crap as this is the crap that will secure this club the future it deserves .

Rubbish….The stadium will be capable of hosting the three major football codes in New South Wales, with the two major tenants, the Parramatta Eels and the Western Sydney Wanderers expected to recommence at the completed stadium. The Government has expressed a desire for other NRL teams to play home games at the stadium.

Souths temporarily moving to a stadium further from their traditional supporter base than their current one?

Wow yes amazing leadership. No risks at all…

And somehow Souths playing there locks out everyone else?

There is no risk at all when you relocate to the biggest growth area in the country, they will never return to Alliance or the city again …Alliance is going to be a huge white elephant ... there management are not fools they know where the strength is and positioning themselves for the future . Our club on the other hand want to still play at grounds that can not even accomodate the membership at its current level well I know who is playing the foolish game here .
