Because they were too big and strong for us….not funny, a fact
**Give most teams in the comp 70% of the ball in the first half and you'll find them hard to beat** (eg last night and our game against the Roosters).
Even if the possession ratio evens out in the back end the damage has already been done.
Points have already been scored and energy reserves sapped.
On another note ,a bigger question is why some teams continually get hammered in the first half - it can't always be over enthusiasm or bad discipline.
How many times have you sat there and wondered why ,when every person in the world sees a player drop the ball cold , the ref calls it a strip?
Too often for my liking.
Surely the refs watching the replays week in , week out , can see they're being continually conned and be a bit more careful in their decisions.
Exactly
**And why did we give them so much ball?**
**They were too big and too strong**
Its quite simple yet you cant…or I think more to the point, dont want to see it.
Be ignorant
