It wasn't the classic hop drop but we are seeing differing versions of this... And as they rule the onus is always on the defender to not infringe, accidentally or not.
His feet left the ground and leveraged his body
Can't wait for Graham Annusley to come out with the official interpretation of what is a hip drop tackle.

Haven't been able to find it in the rule book, but stupid me, I'm still looking for the part in the rule book about the short whistle and the long whistle.

Based on form he should but there's no way they'd drop Teddy.
Teddy is past his best it's showing this year I mentioned it the other week he looks like the hunger is gone to reach that next level it happens when you grow as a person and have other things in your life I think that's why the retirement talk has come up this year and planning to finish in a few years when other players try to keep going

Only 18 metres forward, play on to keep the dogs in it.
I mean I know that the bunker isn't supposed to be able to rule on forward passes, even though they can stick their nose in on just about anything else.

Surely with something like a blatant forward pass you would think they should be able to, or at least give the ref a bit of a tip on the quiet.

I mean, lets face it most of these sideline officials are totally useless and are like sargeant Shultz and see nothing and the commentators are just as bad and say nothing. About the best they can do is maybe call it a flat pass when they should actually have the balls to blow up about it.
