HAPPY TIGER!! Good LAUGH!!! I always liked how Sheen's spoke about ALL these amazing wonderful juniors coming through,,,yet signs Adam Blair and Ray Cashmere…What about how he would pick 4 Reserves and only use 3!! Any wonder we might have lost the close games! The classic was how he would pick Daniel Fitzhenry on the bench and never use him...Perhaps his next career move should see Sheen's join Hill Song and give them a weekly 10%!!!

I'm not happy we are still paying him but glad he is gone. He had my support until last year when it was obvious that he did not learn by his mistakes - and clearly his massive ego is a big part of that.

That he smugly comments about still being paid a motza for doing nothing shows he has no self pride, only ego.

I reckon Sheens would kill and die to be the WT coach and he would give up the $800 k to do so

Unfortunately we would probably then be forced to assassinate him

Perfect line… Good on him. He is getting the last laugh!

Those board members who pushed for him to be re-signed mid term should be made to put up the coin to pay the bloke!

WAtto problem is this **board members are aligned to the side of the jv with no $$**

And you know this , how?
Were you were in the board meeting while it was decided?
Please go ahead and name the particular board members so we can all know as well.
Can you also supply the names of the ones who punted him (and the ones who didn't want to)?
At least that way if Potter fails we can appropriate blame accordingly.
What a crock….pfffft :unamused:
Ps It's all good to say make the board members pay but the reality is that could never happen - legally.

Oooh your hackles rise so easily…LOL.
Its been documented several times over the past few years the Wests side wanted Sheens out....Balmian board members were content

During my working life, I managed a couple of companies. As the boss, I always held the whip hand, when it came to employment. Employee contracts should always contain targets, which must be met to stay in the job. If the targets (KPI's) were not met the employee was liable not to have his contract extended.
From the outside, it looks like the Sheens contract did not contain targets, so that failure by Tim Sheens to achieve the targets at the end of each season meant the contract could be terminated, immediately. If this was so, who drew up the contract?

As a joint-venture, the Wests Tigers set up appears to be fraught with danger, because when the financials start looking bad, are there any "ownership" changes in the joint-venture agreement, which are designed to allow Wests Tigers to make necessary changes to fix the problem.
_**As I have posted before, I think the only way for Wests Tigers to be able to reach their real potential is for them to become a limited company with shares made available to the club members and outside investors. The government regulations applying to companies would force the Tigers operation to be transparent, rather than the current secret society only open to a lucky few.**_

Its a good idea - the current owners Balmain and Wests could hold 51% of shares and third party investors 49% - paid up members of WT could be offered first bite of shares at a discount as in a float - it might be a way of becoming the main player in western sydney - however i don't think this model can work while we play out of 3 home grounds - 2 of which are stuck in the 80's - if we can somehow remedy this it could be a goer.
