If he goes he will just be another user - playing for us while looking for something better while he shopfronts. If he stays, great, but not a total loss if he goes.

Adel Hage on the WT Life podcast had mail recently Star was about to extend then things went quiet, probably just agent play trying to get as much $$$ as possible. Benji has Star in the leadership group this season so I don't think he'll be going anywhere.

You often find a narrative and push it in almost every thread.

This probably needs to be said in the Benji thread but we don't have an option other than Benji. If there are people not on board then they can leave.

There are probably 50 better coaches in the NRL than Benji but we can't afford most of them. We can't give them a good S&c dept, good physios, good facilities etc. we can grab an assistant or a junior coach from the Panthers or storm but they won't survive here with the lack of funding.

The club has gone all in on Benji, Richo and the staff we have here and even if it's Luai or Api, they don't like it, they can leave.

This is something I only realized a couple of weeks ago but The Clubs goal is to do whatever it can on the field but firstly it needs to start making money. A couple of extra wins a season won't help if there is no Club.

Benji brings exposure, brings attention and brings players who have a presence about them, I believe we need it all to survive.

The calibre of players required to be top 4 is very different to the calibre of players that can get you to 12th or even 7th or 8th.

I think To'a is gone as a few weeks ago he was quick to come out and shut the re-signing rumours down. Now add to the fact we have May and Makasini who you would think will be our starting centres in 2026..

He can see the writing on the wall and he is too good for reserve grade so Bears might be a good option.

Mightn’t be a bad result to let him see out his contract next season whilst seeing how Makisini goes …they need to dig their heels in and still keep him next year instead of moving him on if he signs elsewhere this offseason for 2027 …. For some reason they don’t do this ..

12th is the lower end of the range of what I feel is a pass mark. 9th to 12th was our range. Seems ridiculous our expectations are still so low after 15 years of no finals, yet here we are.

Look our starting forwards today include: Twal, Seyfarth, Sukkar and Douehi. Miles off a competitive pack.

We don’t have an established back 5 or a halves pair with chemistry.

And we need an 80% goal kicker.

We need to recruit way more than just KPP if we want to be top 8 IMO.

He has had a dreadful game so far costing us 2 tries,Latu cost the other but at least Latu is having a decent game otherwise.I honestly see very little in his game to suggest he is a regular first grader.
