Hope he doesn't just coast in cup and expect he will be back in first grade, you gotta earn your spot

Hope he doesn't get up with that look of pain on his face followed by a slow play the ball after every tackle, then hobbles around the field and arm grabs at every tackle attempt.

You're right, he has to prove that he has shaken off all of his injuries and that his form is good enough to warrant NRL selection.

Fingers crossed that he can do that and prove that he is a valuable member of the team and that his contract extension was justified.

I think he's highly inconsistent but the eam works better with him and Taylan in the centres. Then. Move Taruva and Maraksini to the flanks.

I like Makasini as a centre, it's his future. I also like your idea of giving him time in both positions. Less pressure on him playing wing, but whenever players are out and we need a centre, it should be him.

Barring any further injuries I want to see him on the wing for at least this season playing outside May whenever it is that he returns.

I see that as being Makasini's best opportunity for development in the short to medium term.
