I personally wouldn't lock in AD at 6 yet. Reynolds was actually quite good in the 2 games that he started for us this year
I expect a very experienced squad for the first half the of the year. Remember that people like Stefano wouldn't have played a game for over a year and a half. I expect the younger ones to start with NSW Cup.

1. AD
2. Momirovski
3. Mbye
4. Roberts
5. Noffa
6. JR
7. Brooks
8. Tamou
9. Liddle
10. Packer
11. LL
12. Garner
13. Twal

14. Musgrove
15. BJ
16. MCK
17. Mikaele

Obviously if Joe O signs or whoever replaces Aloiai would kick off Mikaele or Packer.

Talau, Kepaoa would be the next in line if anyone in the 1-5 goes down

Seyfarth, Blore, Stefano would be next in line for the forwards

Just my opinion - terrible team.

fair fair

I just feel we need to start strong. An experienced team will help us achieve wins whereas the inexperienced team or those who have played less than half a dozen games in over a year and a half will need to be developed via NSP Cup.

A team of Packer/Reynolds/Mbye is more likely to get you wins in the first month than a team of Stefano/Blore/Seyfarth as they will be making a lot of mistakes. They need to make those mistakes in NSW Cup first.

Packer and Reynolds should be nowhere near first grade

I understand a feeling of angst for Packer but I feel Reynolds has never shied away from work. His issue has been that he's had too many injuries with us.

I still have hope that they can provide us with something in their last year. They are both seasoned first graders literally playing to save their careers. They know they'll be lucky to get even a quarter of their salary next year even with a half decent season.

I also don't want Reynolds in No.14. He has the worst dummy half passing I've ever seen in my life. He's either 5/8 or not in the team.

**The problem is Reynolds just isn't up to it.** He looks completely shot. Packer had a couple of great decoy runs. Packer if he is on may be a decent bench prop for a couple of games this season.

Surely no coach would have either of those guys in their top team plans for next season. Fair enough if there are injuries but you have to pick the team on form. On form those guys aren't anywhere near our top team.

I gotta disagree. I could be wrong but Reynolds started in 3-4 games with us and in 2 of those games he was close to MoM. Off the bench, I find him useless but I still think he is our best 5/8. AD has better bombs and long pass but long kicking, short kicking and short passing game, Reynolds is better.

I think AD is better than Reynolds in every single measurable way.

AD can come up with 1 or 2 big plays but Reynolds constantly threatens the line, kicks and chases. He's always putting the other team under pressure. ***And more importantly, he's done it week in week out*** before. I'm not sure how many constant games AD has played at 5/8.

Reynolds hasnt done anything week in week out for almost 4 years.

He kicked a Souff's guy in the head..

He got my Man of the Match for that.

His niggle game was also on point in that game - Latrell's reactions were too funny.

Reynolds should be 18th man. Good for the warm ups and sledging/cheering from the sideline.

Ad or REYNOLDS,? im not sure.Reynolds to be fair had very little game time due to injuries, plus a terrible time off the field.I love the type of game he plays the in your face aggressive, probing half, and thats what we lack. But ,can he still do that is the question.

Not in the team....he truly offers no skill...

bj/talau
Roberts
AJ
AD
brooks

Siro
lol
Ofahengaue
Twal
Blore
Musgrove

Would prefer Aloiai to Mikaele.

1 Mbye
2 Nofa
3 Leilua
4 Jet
5 Momo
6 AD
7 Brooks
8 Tamou
9 Liddle
10 Musgrove
11 Luciano
12 Blore
13 Ofa

14 Simpkin
15 Garner
16 Twal
17 Utoikamanu

18 Mikaele
19 AJ
20 Talau
21 Madden

Cheekam
Seyfarth
Packer
Cini
Reynolds
Bradley
Walters

IMO anyone outside the 21 above, barring a huge step up, will most likely be let go at end of 21 (maybe bar one or two of the young fellas) and shouldn’t be used unless a last resort.

Looking to 2022 should be a priority.

Logjam in the outside backs, but could go in many directions regarding anyone outside of Nofa on the right wing.

Garner/Blore and Simpkin/Liddle pretty interchangeable depending on time of season but would line up round 1 as above.

Also must consider a potential 5/8 for round one with AD out suspended. Talau? Mbye? (if we get Laurie)

Lots of spots up for grabs. Should be interesting.

That’s a pretty quality looking lineup IMO 👌🏽 I’d prob throw talau in 5/8 first game though as there’s no one else to play fullback I don’t think

Wonder if we can find a loop hole and make douehi miss a trial game as a form of suspension so he is avaulble rd 1 😅

Wonder if Tommy T might go alright at 5/8 seeing as he played there in his juniors?
It's only 1 week after all...
Otherwise, Grubby should go alright...
Final year, so he's gotta make every post a winner if he wants any sort of a future in Rugbah-Leeg.

Think of our recruiting how you like but im impressed by the difference.-

Reynolds 750k
Packer 675k
Mbye 700k
Matulino 500-550k

Compare that too -

Tamou - 350k
Jo -350k
Srefano 300k?
The jet - 150k
+ 100k+ from manly.

Thats some good business there. If we xan get young fella from Panthers this year we will be smashing it.

Sorry but I hope to never see Grub or Packer in the NRL run on side again

If Douhiei is moved to 5/8 James Roberts is the only player we have that was a junior fullback.
Not saying he is the option but we have none.

Mbye is below NRL standard at the back, Douihei is not a fullback. Unless the kid from Penrith gets a release arguably the most important position on the field we have a below standard player.

For that reason I think Douihei starts at fullback unless we sign one before the start of the season.

Noff might fill in. We've a plethora of wingers.

Roberts said in a podcast main reason doesn’t play full back is he has bad eyesight

Should get It fixed didn’t Mikaele have eye surgery

I reckon we should stick Douihei at 6 and leave him there. He is our best fullback as well but I reckon his best position may be 6. I'd give him some time there.

I think Mbye can do the job at fullback. He will be inconsistent but it's for one year only.

I’d be going with
1 Kepowa
2 Nofoaluma
3 Talau
4 Momorovski
5 Roberts
6 Douehi (c)
7 Brooks (c)
8 Tamou
9 Liddle
10 Musgrove
11Leilua
12 Blore
13 Ofahenguaue

14 Stefano
15 Packer
16 Twal
17 Mbye

All I hope is Maguire picks and sticks I key positions. I'd like to see one 5/8, one fullback and one #9 all year, barring injuries.

Surely he saw enough combinations last year to know who should be selected
