Reynolds was actually quite good in the 2 games that he started for us this year
I expect a very experienced squad for the first half the of the year. Remember that people like Stefano wouldn't have played a game for over a year and a half. I expect the younger ones to start with NSW Cup.
1. AD
2. Momirovski
3. Mbye
4. Roberts
5. Noffa
6. JR
7. Brooks
8. Tamou
9. Liddle
10. Packer
11. LL
12. Garner
13. Twal
14. Musgrove
15. BJ
16. MCK
17. Mikaele
Obviously if Joe O signs or whoever replaces Aloiai would kick off Mikaele or Packer.
Talau, Kepaoa would be the next in line if anyone in the 1-5 goes down
Seyfarth, Blore, Stefano would be next in line for the forwards
Just my opinion - terrible team.
fair fair
I just feel we need to start strong. An experienced team will help us achieve wins whereas the inexperienced team or those who have played less than half a dozen games in over a year and a half will need to be developed via NSP Cup.
A team of Packer/Reynolds/Mbye is more likely to get you wins in the first month than a team of Stefano/Blore/Seyfarth as they will be making a lot of mistakes. They need to make those mistakes in NSW Cup first.
Packer and Reynolds should be nowhere near first grade
I understand a feeling of angst for Packer but I feel Reynolds has never shied away from work. His issue has been that he's had too many injuries with us.
I still have hope that they can provide us with something in their last year. They are both seasoned first graders literally playing to save their careers. They know they'll be lucky to get even a quarter of their salary next year even with a half decent season.
I also don't want Reynolds in No.14. He has the worst dummy half passing I've ever seen in my life. He's either 5/8 or not in the team.
**The problem is Reynolds just isn't up to it.** He looks completely shot. Packer had a couple of great decoy runs. Packer if he is on may be a decent bench prop for a couple of games this season.
Surely no coach would have either of those guys in their top team plans for next season. Fair enough if there are injuries but you have to pick the team on form. On form those guys aren't anywhere near our top team.
I gotta disagree. I could be wrong but Reynolds started in 3-4 games with us and in 2 of those games he was close to MoM. Off the bench, I find him useless but I still think he is our best 5/8. AD has better bombs and long pass but long kicking, short kicking and short passing game, Reynolds is better.
I think AD is better than Reynolds in every single measurable way.
AD can come up with 1 or 2 big plays but Reynolds constantly threatens the line, kicks and chases. He's always putting the other team under pressure. ***And more importantly, he's done it week in week out*** before. I'm not sure how many constant games AD has played at 5/8.
Reynolds hasnt done anything week in week out for almost 4 years.
He kicked a Souff's guy in the head..
He got my Man of the Match for that.
His niggle game was also on point in that game - Latrell's reactions were too funny.
Reynolds should be 18th man. Good for the warm ups and sledging/cheering from the sideline.
