He is a centre - that is his position.

Just looked at the site again ,and it said JL had contract for 2022,with no options mentioned,but im sure only a couple of weeks ago it mentioned club option.Its either a typo ,or been changed.Momo has a player option for 2022. However, I consider him to be a good centre - and he will only improve.

He’s not in the same world as Roberts or Leilua and well behind Talau too. He’s a solid depth player who will likely play CC all year unless there are injuries.

Roberts and Bj Definitely live in their own world.

I’d argue Momo’s stint with WT has been much more impressive than BJ’s

If we consider players 'potential' and their success in the past, we have Packer (international, great hits, aggressive), Raynolds ('Origin' player), Mbye ('Origin' player) but all of them, regardless of their 'potential' are of no value to the WT, and it seems we have a hard time selling them to anyone.:angry:
So, as we have no goal kicker (with AD out), Momirovski is actually a must, and better value (as a package) then BJ or Roberts.

Correct. Our management have been terrible at identifying potential.

Its been a long off season....

Heres a bombshell. I dont think there is any guarantee that Roberts will play a single game for us. Its 50/50 as to whether he could even stay straight for the season start. I hope he does, but im not putting any money on it.

As for momo....lucky to be first grade at all.

So he can start with the premiers but Tigers, who haven’t made the playoffs in a decade can’t fit him in? He may not have a clutch moment which sticks in people’s minds but he has nailed the reliable part of his play. I think he is the best centre we have at this time. I’m waiting for the other centres to prove me wrong?

I agree mate he is footballer, play him in the centers, wing, fullback or five eight he will do the job for you. He makes my team somewhere.

Agree with this, IMO Kapeoa gets first crack. Big, strong fast, good feet

I would like to see us stick with AJ too. Think he could become really good for us.
