I like Doueihi ,I like Momo,they are nice guys and try their hearts out,but they are not and doubt they will ever be attacking weapons,the same as Mbye.We will need an attacking 5/8 down the line,some one nifty and quick,and that with a decent FB will be the turning point for the Tigers.

I feel sorry for Bradley cause the kids not a winger never played that position in his life till he came here he’s a front/second rower never played in the forwards once here

We all rave about WTs GF win,who was Benjis partner in the halves,?No one mentions him,but he played a huge part and seems to be forgotten.

Our attack was actually ok last year. We averaged 22 points per game, I’m guessing that will dip a little bit without Benji’s assists, to around 21. The key will be keeping teams under 20 which has been our main problem for years.

All great payers in the main key positions every football brain says you must have.I t think Brooks is good enough.Simkin or Liddle are good enough,but FB is vacant and 6 is a big hope.These are the positions we must strengthen,enough has been done in the forwards we have a good pack,.

Statistics can be read in many different ways,normally to the one who benefits the most.For instance we had a huge win over the Broncos that made our stats look a lot better then what they were.Forwards must get cheesed off when they see some of our backs making one armed tackles,dropped balls,wrong options,and players running around them cause they are too slow.

I think Douehi will do the job we’re paying him to do. We are a star fullback and second rower off a top eight squad in my opinion.

Feels like we are strengthening everywhere but the spine. Our current players in any projected spine are just not good enough for us to be competitive if we are honest.
If the spine is good and you have a good kicker (like 2005) then the rest can be solid role players.

I am worried that we have not prioritised this.
And we still don’t have a goal kicker. Big fail IMO.

I love our additions but without a quality spine if we are going to compete it’s going to be gritty, not pretty.
Hope we all keep our hopes realistic.

Well we’ve got a good second rower coming in now. Tukimihia Simpkins from Cowboys although Bradley is leaving

I might be wrong but I don't think to many on the Forum would be upset that Bradley is moving on I dont think he would have been putting any pressure on the backs in front of him.

It seems like a good deal for us

Its not just a good deal its Brilliant

Has anyone actually seen Simpkins play? Bradley looked to have some ability. Very raw, but showed ability.

Time will tell, but hopefully we got the better end of the deal.

I'm less worried about our edge forward depth. I reckon our depth is pretty good. Chee-Kam can win games for us and he will be lucky to make the bench.

I think we don't have a quality edge forward to back up Luc unless Blore comes on. Garner has his moments but we'd be a better team with a threat in that position.

Our no 1 issue has to be fullback and then I reckon a quality edge forward.

Id like to think we can rely more on doueihi and Brooks to win us games than a bench player to fluke through average defense

I like Chee Kam plugging a hole but if he is in our 17 week to week we’re in trouble. Hopefully it doesn’t get to that stage


Agreed MCK is not a top 17 player and never will be.He is only a stop gap forward if we have many injuries and a terrible centre.
I dont dislike him but i will be very concerned every time he is in the 17

If MCK is in our top 17, we are 9 or below.

in the 9 Simpkin and Liddle are maybes really we need to strengthen that with Brandon Smith or McGinnes from saints to complement simpkin or Liddle from bench

We are definitely not getting value for our spine. But to be fair they haven’t had a chance to settle. Brooks is the most constant and he has been dropped.

Twal is not a lock, he’s much better suited to prop.

I’d say Luai would be top priority for them atm, even ahead of Critta

One would hope so, though as you say the cows must have seen something in Bradley to give him two years.
