State of Origin 2025

Anyone heard of May being a 'difficult' personality? I was told that was the reason he isn't considered. A 10 day camp isn't long enough to bring together players when there is a brash personality in the group.
I've never met the bloke and don't watch his socials to support or disregard the comment.
He’s a different cat, from the harder streets of Sydney. That’s why the cocks moved him on, but the tigers have embraced his cultural style. I think this way of thinking by the blues camp verges on discrimination due to his personal character. Almost bullying. Bunji emphasised yesterday that he one of our leaders and embraces teaching the young kids.

We will differ on this one mate,
Don’t get me wrong he is our best front rower I just think there are better options than him for SOO.
I am not a stats person I judge on what I see.
And remember it’s only my opinion.
Of course.
Im asking the question as Daley is one of the lowest IQ people in rugby league and I find what he says very very hard to follow.
I think its highly unlikely that May's playing ability or form kept him out of this squad. If he was a QLDer hed be one of the first picked. We love blokes who return huge stats on either side of the ball. NSW tend to go for the guys who have better highlight reels.

I got no faith in Laurie.

Blues have the better team despite the couple of selection issues, but I think QLD favourites because of coaching staff.

Like others have said why would we go back to Laurie , what did he show in his previous tenure. 🤦‍♂️
I don't understand why NSW RL has such an anti tigers stance. Who is in the board?

WESTPAC NSW BLUES SQUAD

1. Dylan Edwards (Penrith Panthers)
2. Brian To’o (Penrith Panthers)
3. Stephen Crichton (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
4. Latrell Mitchell (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
5. Zac Lomax (Parramatta Eels)
6. Mitchell Moses (Parramatta Eels)
7. Nathan Cleary (Penrith Panthers)
8. Mitchell Barnett (Warriors)
9. Reece Robson (North Queensland Cowboys)
10. Payne Haas (Brisbane Broncos)
11. Liam Martin (Penrith Panthers)
12. Angus Crichton (Sydney Roosters)
13. Isaah Yeo (c) (Penrith Panthers)
14. Connor Watson (Sydney Roosters)
15. Spencer Leniu (Sydney Roosters)
16. Hudson Young (Canberra Raiders)
17. Max King (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
18. Campbell Graham (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
19. Stefano Utoikamanu (Melbourne Storm)
20. Haumole Olakau’atu (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles)

No one is really talking about Luai missing out. Being the partner in crime with Cleary and winning 4 x GFS with Cleary, winning state of origin last year, still couldn't get him selected.
And Freddy wants to put shit on May. What about the “powerful” people in the game (Roosters) licking the Moses nads. That’s the embarrassing part.

I’ve never wanted a Blues player to fail more in G1.

The NSW team is a bit of a laugh

Who’s Max king?
Max King has been going okay at the Dog's and I don't begrudge him getting a start, what I do disagree with is Stefano in the extended squad.

He probably won't get a run unless there are injuries and you can call it sour grapes on my part but I don't think he deserves to be there.

Wonder how much sway Bellyache had in his selection, quite a bit I would think and a selection that may improve his confidence and ultimately benefit the Storm.

To me there appears to be a bit of self interest involved in this selection.

Id say this NSW lineup is way too strong to be smacked.
We may get you on the bell or something but its more likely NSW wins easily and Daley is vindicated.
I will never underestimate QLD Tucker I've done it before and paid the penalty - .and thrive on the underdog tag.
Not sure that Cleary and Moses will work together effectively both too dominant - it's going to be interesting.

Laurie has made a noose for himself if NSW lose. Picking players that suit the style he wants to play means it’s all on him. Pick players on form then it’s on the players if they have an off-night.

Hope they get lapped
I agree. If QLD literally invaded us, I'd pick up a gun, but this is just a game. I don't have to support the team run by idiots that 70% of the population don't give two hoots about.

If they pick a stupid coach, and he makes stupid decisions and we lose, why do I own it??

Sorry, but one good season in a high flying club, is easy money. What about the second in daily m in a struggling team?
They said he gives 100%. How is that different from Terrell? It looks like a nod to the comp leaders, nothing more.
