State of Origin 2025

Capewell used Cleary as his spot-player in defence all of the first half - while both Yeo and Martin subsidised his shit defence.

That is what exposed the right side when Qld grew momentum - with the lock & captain parked on the left...

Klein is a mutt - but the better peforming team won on the night!

Billy should piss off back to pontificating at Channel 9 at the conclusion of the series regardless of the end result - he lacks the class - integrity and thick skin to continue in any coaching capacity.

It’s poor coach vs poor coach. Close to two of the all time bad origin coaches.

King? How about Stef? Wasn’t there talk about how he was gonna come in and stand up to their pack, take the first hit up yada yada yada. What a loser.
He got smashed , and was responsible for at least / of thier tries with lazy middle defence . No coincidence that when he goes off the middle shores up .
How he got picked ahead of Kolomatagi , Lyndsey Smith … and of course May is bullshit . The talk will be how well he played because he sent Deardon flying once and dropped on the spot the moment he did . “Oh WOWWW! 6 second play the ball , and the next bloke gets hammered .

Luai was better in the second half after a poor first but he has too many silly errors in his game, usually from over enthusiasm.

I guess it's live by the sword die by the sword, but he'd be a much better player imo if he sat back and picked his moments a bit more. It always gets a little frantic when he gets the ball nearer the ruck, whereas when he's two wide on a shift with a bit of space he comes up with some excellent plays.

I know it's an origin thread so don't want to bring Tigers footy into it too much but gee we really need to put him in the 6 to get the best out of him.
