Who knows mate, coaching job trend seems to be going to recent players but that would suggest a lot of possibles.

I’d be concerned giving him the job. Like Daley, he was brilliant in Origin and was a huge help in NSW winning the series each time he played. But not every player is a great coach and I think Johns will unfortunately struggle to coach even if it was just for a year. If it’s possible I’d try and get Ivan in from 27 onwards, but whether it’s allowed who knows. I could live with it I guess if Johns did have the job for a year but if that does happen I think QLD win next year.
