State of origin 3

Incredible defence in the first half. Just couldn't continue with it in the second half, Queensland just too good in the end. Imo Robbie, Hoffman, n Gallen, all three deserved to share the Wally Lewis medal. Also i would've liked to have seen both Gallen (captain) and Robbie(vice captain) up on stage lifting the shield up together. Well done to both teams.

Hoffman deserved that Medal. I think Hoff was our best in all three games.

Farah missed 5 tackles

Did he?.. Robbie plays with so much heart an passion and tackles his but off for 80min. And if he missed 5 tackles i'll forgive him. This is Origin don't forget. Also his kicking game was very good. Well done Robbie.

Just hope he has some still in the tank for Friday. Killer turnaround for the body.

Farah wasn't trying hard yesterday IMO. Felt like he was there to do his job and that's it.

I must have been watching a different game…we had no attack and the only time we had any zip at all was when Robbie darted out of dummy half...aslo our kicking game sucked arse and Robbie again was the only one that applied any pressure.

Reynolds was woeful...two grabby tackles in origin that led to tries and 11 nisses overall and a sshoulder charge when we had them dep in their own territory.

The problem is NSW has no points in them, the drama is NO ball player the halves have done ok but realistically next year one of the halves has to be a ball player.

Ordinary backline. No points in them at all. Overrated halves, it could have been 40 or 50 to 8.

Big changes needed next year.

The Blues really got lucky this yr. The moment Cronk went down in game one the Maroons were lost. The no try to Thiaday in game 2 could have changed the outcome of the series if the decision had gone the other way. I agree with Col, the halves are ordinary and definitely don't deserve to have their spots set in stone, even though they probably will have though. They need to back it up and win next yrs series to show this yr wasn't a fluke imo.

Yeh agree, they got lucky and the thaiday no try could've changed the outcome of the series.

But in saying that, there have been half a dozen calls over the 8 years that've favoured the maroons which if favour the blues could've easily got blues the series.

Not knocking Robbie , but what was going on with the Smith try

DCE left him standing like a statue , he barely moves

Exhaustion, lack of concentration for a split second, wrongly thinking someone else had him covered? Take your pick Happy. Cherry took them by surprise. It happens!

Been in that situation a few times, by the time you realise you have made the mistake its too late and the ball is over the try line. It's a terrible feeling, just left standing there looking like a tree stump. Quite often all you have done is planted your feet for a split second as the player hits the gap and your left looking like a goose.

To disagree with Gallen getting man of series. Hayne was a huge standout in game one, he played tough in dour game 2 and was one of our better players last night. Hayne and Hoffman were well ahead of Gallen IMO.

We may not have won last night but Gallen atrocious pass when we were coming back at 14-8 finished any hope we had. QLD scored that set.

Gallen got MOM in game 2 but he shouldnt have.

A few points for me….

Gallen was awful last night....kept dropping the ball and got dominated by Qld numbers in the tackle.

On DCE going past Robbie, watch it again,Tamou has him covered and throws in arm out....Robbie backed off and he was goorne.....Tamou is a putty tat!!

Our halves are bog ordinary.....carn Brooksie.

And we stole Origin from a far better side purely on guits and determination...that Q team is far better than ours and we have the cup....u have to be happy about that!!

Not to mention failing to find touch from a penalty when we were 2-0 up,QLD set up camp in our 20m after that, that sucked a lot of unnecessary energy, that was telling at the end.

On the whole NSW were ordinary last night. Their rock solid defence from games 1 and 2 was gone and the extra effort just wasn't there when fatigue set in. Farah had a poor game in my opinion but he wasn't alone out there. Most of the team played like the job was done. NSW best in my opinion was Dugs. Parker was by far the best on the field.

Gal had a good series, but Hoff, Hayne or even Beau Scott should have been player of the series.

The Blues broke a long drought to win back the cup, but last night proved they need to make plenty of changes if they want to keep it for a few more years.

The 6 and 7 just dont have the class at this level, they need to look at one of the wing positions and a couple of the forwards. Very hard for a non champion side to win away in a dead rubber
