http://www.thescore.com.au/matches/nrl/match15164.html

Canberra 1738 metres vs Tigers 951 metres
Line breaks 12-2
Missed tackles 9-40

Shocking.

Not good. Not good at all.

19 missed tackles in the first half.

Double that at the second half.

Defence is woeful.

The loss of Steve Folkes is no longer just a coincidence! It is no longer a coincidence that the 2 years he was here we made the Top 8 and no coincidence that we had previously NOT made the Play-Off's since 2005!

What is the common denominator in the years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009?

Averaging just on 40 missed tackles per week and the For & Against -43? I know it is still only Round 4 but for supporters of the Eels, Titans and Tigers it does appear as though it is going to be a very long year!

Its not going to get better soon, for all those people out their who think this team has a big winning streak in them–keep dreaming. This is going to be one long season. Never expected a win tonight with our spine so disrupted but their is no excuse for 40 mis tackles and two backs on the bench

Leading metre makers

Robinson 212
Ferguson 215
Croker 248

Can't happen too often that 3 backs go over 200m in attack

I havent seen a game like that where the metreage stats were so evident and so one side in a long long time….shades of magpies 98 99

They had 6 players with over 120m… We had zero... Woods and Ellis were the only ones who went over 100m

Woods made 119 metres and can hold his head high, ditto for Ellis who made 107\. Groat and Blair came up with a paltry 35 metres each. The scoreline flattered the Tigers.

Lets be fair dinkum about stats. The ONLY one that matters is possession. From there flows all the others. Feel free to discuss how taht became the way it did.

Well it sounds pointless, but amongst many other factors, we did get carved up in the penalties. Not say ing all were undeserved but I feel only one side was reffed tonight.

I do think we copped a raw deal when it came to inconsistencies.
