I smell a conspiracy afoot

Hey happy , if you see a dodgy white foxtel van , with a seedy looking foxtel guy offering you re-connection after the storms , it'll be Geo !

Thanks Happy. My nan lives in Currumbin, near the Wildlife Sanctuary.

She's not to far from me TM , i'm on the N.S.W side only just  .

It's all good at the moment , have had rain on and off this afternoon.

'Spose I'll have to tidy up the missiles in the back yard.

The dog sleeps on the bottom bunk under our high-set house so he'll be fine. If the winds are anything like the cyclone that crossed near shoalwater bay in the 80's she'll be blowin.

Fingers crossed the roof stays put if it crosses anywhere near us here in Rocky/Yeppoon.

Happy, there still predicting it crossing near your place. Stay safe buddy.

FT , I worry about you

Its still 1200 kms away from you , the rain will be just localised stuff

We aren't even getting any rain or much wind (at this stage )

Scariest moment of my life happened during Cyclone Hamish

Was staying up to watch an EPL game after my daughters birthday party and looked to see where the cyclone was

It was coming straight towards us and had just been upgraded to a Category 5 cyclone

It was the Cyclone that at one stage they were concerned it would possibly reach NZ waters

On a lighter note, I think I'll be lonely at work today. Last time we had heavy rain in Rocky most of the staff went home, lol.

Forecast torrential rain from today onwards. Oh well

Lol Geo. Lucky Happy knows it's all in jest and has a sense of humour…

You lads up north are in my thoughts - Goldy is copping on and off rain, and blustery winds today, and expected to get worse, however nowhere near as bad as what you two lads will be copping - it's effectvely going to be a borderline Category 1, Large Low pressure cell by the time it hits the Gold Coast.

Happy, FT, be safe lads - make sure you surface on here and check in at your earliest convenience.
