Laurie and him have been real shining lights this year.

Hate to turn this into a negative but the first thing I think about when you see players playing good for us is- how long til they leave...?

It's a fair way to feel. I felt the same again yesterday after watching Laurie have another good outing.

Both been fantastic

Musgrove, Simpkin and Stefano will make quite the starting front row trio in a couple of years. add Blore and Luch in the back row and at Tuki Simpkins at lock and we've got a very formidable pack that is already sitting in our own backyard.

Add Kelma Tuilagi to that list too

110% agree, definitely worth the wait, if we can keep him, he will be the cornerstone of our pack in years to come.

I was sitting behind the goal post that he scored under. My life was flashing before my eyes, watching him charge in my direction and I 20 rows up.

I can’t believe the Eels let Stefano go

They were not happy about losing him. We simply offered a better deal.

They tried to keep him even after he signed with us.

Turpin having nightmares (or maybe hitting the turps). How many times did Stefano bump him off? 4?

Gave him a good face rub after running over him to score

They mismanaged his brother's injury or something along that line so the family never wanted him to stay at parra. Yeah they desperately wanted to keep him but I think matterson for him is a fair swap if you think about it

Hopefully leader of our pack for many years to come. Skys the limit for Stefano.

Key stat for me - Avg play the ball speed 2.6sec.

While his overall mtrs weren't massive, he clearly doesn't get dominated hence why his PTB are so fast.

Allows the halves to play on the front foot.

Quality post. Despite the flack he cops we have a great HB when he has some space.
