Yea the storm can get lost!!!!!!

Stefano looks like he could be playing for Australia soon. No way would we want to lose him.

IMHO, Stef at the end of the year was better than Saifiti pre-origin debut.

Still pinching myself parra let him go and gave him almost no game time

If i'm been honest I am concerned about this and losing Stefo to a club like the Roosters..
As the saying goes if they want someone they get them and this guy is a 10 year SOO player who they will want to replace JWH.. You cannot blame them for going there as they get paid very well and also get looked after even more after footy (which is a joke).. I know Sheen's said they are in talks to extend him and have faith with what he has done so far but still concerned in the back of my mind..
Getting an announcement from the club saying we have extended him would be as exciting as signing a top line players from elsewhere. Fingers crossed

We need to get Uto's re signing and upgrade done. Its pretty obvious other clubs rate this kid and there will be some big offers next Nov if we let it drag on.

This needs to happen ASAP . This article alone will get clubs sniffing around .

Forum go fund me?

A lot of players will think twice before going to Melbourne they've been in a downward spiral since Cam Smith left and with JAC and Finucane leaving Brandon Smith in the sh** Leumeleume leaving Harry Grant probably will go back home when he's next contract comes up the Storm could easily be a team that drops out of the eight in time

I like your humour

Parra never wanted to let him go, and the game time he was getting in 2020 at the eels to me screamed bitterness

Yeah they had him ear marked as the next big thing for some time. They threw the kitchen sink at him but they didn't look after his brother and his whole family was still upset over it. We got real lucky

It was a pretty low way to treat him. By trying to spite us by not releasing him early, they really stuck the middle finger up at him too

We've got a major advantage being able to top up his existing contract.

With Sheens aboard, the dynamics of WTs retaining its current squad and also recruiting externally has changed. The NRL has been in need of someone to shake up the player market. We're getting a taste. There is a just a whiff in the air of a change in the status quo.

Paws, you sure you haven’t trodden in something? It’s the cap at work. Players reaching the pinnacle of their careers, wanting the kudos and pay to match?

Could be that mate but I sense change in the environment.

What do we know about Harry O’Kane and Henry O’Kane? Are they on development contracts?

I know they shouldn't be in the Stefano thread.

Henry O'Kane is on a development contract for 2022. Who's Harry?

There is something in that. There’s a more positive approach to recruitment since Sheens and O’Donnell arrived. Madge seems to be getting the players he wants, our chair and ceo aren’t as disruptive of negotiations etc, there seems to be a more cohesive approach. A more professional approach?
Whatever they’re doing I’ve got more confidence in them now and hope it’s a culture change which drives on field performance.
Stef hopefully will be re-signed beyond 23.

That’s a mistake mate, Zero Tackle can be pretty unreliable at times.

Henry O’Kane is a 19-year-old Second Rower (Balmain junior).

Harry O’Kane doesn’t exist.
