Sterlo has never really had too much great stuff to say about WT (with good reason for the most part), not sure if Wests and Balmain gave him a going over in his playing days? He spoke what we all pretty much know. In a perfect world it would be unreal to get his footy knowledge to our club.

Always talks brooks up, can't we get him in for a bit of training

i think he just calls a spade a spade

Normally he calls a spade a spade but he doesn't mind putting the boot into WT either, have noticed that for a decade or more. His expertise at halfback play would probably be lost in this day and age of ad-neaseum 5th tackle mindless bombs etc.
Sad part that has gone out of RL, the pure footy player who sees plays one tackle ahead.

So called experts left, right and centre, have their shots at Wests Tigers.
As regular as their want to use us, as their corresponding hands out to collect their 40 pieces of silver.
I thought the media had one job - to support and promote the sport that feeds them.
I guess not - controversy over accuracy is the way of the millennials.

If there is one club in the NRLthat deserves having the boot kicked swiftly up the bottom, it’s our mob.

We stagger from one salary cap disaster to another. Our recruitment and retention is another disaster and of course our results are terrible. We need more people like Sterlo to put the boot in with the hope it may bring change

He copped a fair bit of rough stuff from Tommy Raudonikis when he was emerging as the "golden boy" for Parra.

"Yet Sterling suggested that the Tigers needed to find a better foil in the halves to push Brooks to the next level. Club hero Benji Marshall has been moved on and Reynolds has not been effective at No.6.

“They [must] find someone that takes a little bit of pressure off him,” Sterling said."

I found that the above was the most interesting part. Stirling is not laying blame at Brooks but is strongly suggesting that he needs a new halves partner who would take the pressure off him. In my opinion, benji of late was just putting pressure on rooks with his sideways runs. More than anything else we need a new competent experienced halve to complement Brooks.

It is changing and not because of Sterlo and a bunch of agenda ridden sprukers (wouldn't call them journalists.

It will have to be 2022 unfortunately. Hopefully AD can build on that half he had for next year. I think AD is our best left centre and best fullback but will have to pick where he is needed.

I doubt Sterlo has a axe to grind against our mob, I think he calls it as he sees it. Of course the same could not be said about most of the other NRL mouth pieces in the media

Not saying he has an axe to grind SC - but I think "The Tigers" now know the problem and have been putting the solution into place long before Sterlo has suggested the problems. As you say the others should be burnt with their rags.

Pretty accurate in a lot of comments and don't think its written to bag the Tigers like lots of other Media, just stick to the facts.
Rates Brooks however i think most supporters are thinking now if he does not perform next season what's the point in retaining.

Yes we will struggle again in 2021 mainly because we have players that are on big $ and can't perform....

My biggest gripe is back in the Taylor days we were constantly being told that our cap was in diabolical state due to previous management and was going to take up to three years to get the place in a competitive place. Now we are in the same deep hole. Okay Ivan was the man who dug the hole, but the current board and CEO except for the chairman are the ones who gave Cleary the shovel.

I am sick of waiting in hope and I am sick of excuses. Anyway most people are already writing us off for next year and do you blame them. When your my age 2022 is a long way off

Well totally relate but saves any disappointment coming into a new season they might surprise us depending on whom we sign in the off season.

There is talk on low ball offers well i would rather be hearing that than paying overs like we have done in the past.

Also like to see the Club extend Madge's contract by a year sooner than later that way the players know the coach is in charge.

who is "our" mob though? coaches/administrators/CEOs/chairmen have all gone and left.

I honestly think we are improving but all others clubs are improving faster than us. We are too slow to learn, the game changes on/off field and we are left at no.9 again.

Putting the boot in doesn't help. I've gone through our signings- JR/Packer/Jennings/BJ.. all of them, MOST of us supported the signings. There are plenty of mistakes we've made but a lot of them, we have been plain unlucky.

What solution have they been putting in place before this article? I'm not sure we are seeing anything except for the quick fix solution like 2013
