Steve Folkes factor

I think we miss what Steve brought to the club. Commitment, discipline , structure and most importantly FITNESS.
We just look so unfit compared to other sides. Last year, if we got caned with repeat sets, we were able to play through them. This year we look so spent after 15 minutes.
Would like to know why he left and why we let him go.

He took on the assistant coach job at dragons.
who knows what goes on behind closed doors at Concord.
 
Yea I would like him back too funny to see that we can't make the semis before ( except 2005) folkes gets a job at tigers he stays 2 years and we make the semis both times and now he is gone we don't look the same

Can't help but thinking that as well, besides some personnel changes, we don't look like the same side the went around the last 2 years.
 
Skando was a great servant for the Wests Tigers but I never classed him in the fitness guru mold of Folkes.

I dont beleive we are fit enough and it is showing with our play options. We are missing Gibbs as he was our line speed master and this is sadly missing.

I pray we come good but we cannot afford any more losses before the Bye and Test Match.
 
I think Folkes was eyeing the top job and when they resigned Sheens for 3 years he moved on. Why Dragons, because if Steve Price doesn't workout, he can take over. He wants a head coach position and he deserves one.

FOLKES to take us to the next level , he will also stop benji being in control of our club , all players to play for a starting spot , all included , if benji dont like it he can move on , 1 person wont win the comp for us , a team efort will we must get back to a 1 team group all for one no metter what
