Sticky...fire up!!

-First 3 minutes-
I feel so sorry for players.
Understand the penalty, that wasn't a penalty no Penalty, no penalty, no penalty.
Just feel so sorry for the players
To be 7-0 down in the second half but the better football team
It's just not fair for these guys
They're the better football team for the first half but to be down 7-0, penalty count is not fair
I just feel sorry for these blokes
But I'm not blowing up about that…

Haha gotta love listening to this guy.

The most graceful loser in Rugby League

mate, he _was_ bloody graceful. If I was him I woulda socked the ref after that abysmal performance. Coulda sworn they'd told their wives to put the car on the titans the way they refereed.

Dislike him… But it's accurate as @&$&!!! Something has to change.

Robinson is a cheat. He should be banned for life.

The suggestions of match fixing are getting louder and louder. How can you have officials who have so much influence over the game no accountability?

Best 10K well spent. This will force the refs to starting treating Parra like they do the Storm. Wish potter did it last week. The 10K is only about three weeks worth of what we are paying Sheens now anyway.

Don't usually take much out of what he has to say but I'll give him credit on this occasion, as Demon said, ACCOUNTABILITY is the key word and it doesn't apply to these referees and it's ruining the game for all involved.

Something really stinks when a coach or a player can't even criticise the refs' performances without being fined $10K. Who the hell do they think they are? Do they think they are perfect and beyond criticism? Coaches should be able to say what they think without penalty and without being dictated to by these 'untouchable' nobs.

False, they are free to criticise the performance of the referees all they want, but are fined 10 grand when they question the officials' integrity.

And again I ask why referees (video ref as well ) aren't put in front of the press after games and are made to answer questions on the games like the players and coaches

If they explained the decisions and you could see why they made the call many would be more sympathetic to their situations

Its the fact that they are like an endangered species and fully protected by the NRL is why people get angry about this whole matter

Agree with you happy 100%.

Refs should have to face a presser as well. Give them 10 mins in front of the media to answer and explain on decisions they made and why. I for one wouldn't mind seeing more of this side of the game. On the flip side it would allow them to defend themselves. More often than not its the poor results that go straight to the back page of the paper and gives them a bad rep - there are some good decisions being made out there too, none of which really get commended. Like the players need to be more available to the media if the game is going to grow so do the refs.

We need the refs just as much as we need the players. In fact referees are on the decline most likely due to the bad rep they are getting. seriously who would want to be a referee, it seems like a thankless gig tbh. Which it shouldn't be.
