Sticky Stuart to Coach Tigers in 2011!?!?

Since we're into Hypotherical's....What if the next bloke fails to get us to the finals......keep churning through them like most other clubs....

2 season we were cripple by injury. Last season however was an EXTREME disappointed and I agree Sheens should have got the side into the finals… comfortably.

I would go easy on claiming 4 years of failure... sure we haven't made the finals since '05... but IMO our only real chances were in 06 and 09...

If he gave the good players in the lower grades more experience in first grade then we would be able to deal with injuries better. There are no excuses for 2006-2009\. Also we haven't had depth in the front row for years and you can blame Mr Sheens for that because he decides what players we bring to the club and what players we let go. We also had a lack of depth in the halves but that is getting a bit better now.

Old news Heard this rumour back in feburary

and btw Sticky didnt fail.. he won a comp his very first year and made 2 Grand FInals the next 2 years.. our coach cant even get us into the 8 he also took a slow average sharks team to equal first in 08 he isnt as bad as what people think

And by they way, why is there so much Sheens love going on? A week ago we wanted him shipped off to Antartica never to be seen again. Now that Sheens has gone on the offensive in the media, everyone is sweet with him. Pardon my low intellect but I'm confused

ricky isnt a bad coach, he took the roosters to 3 straight grand finals, the sharks in 08 were equal first.

hes got a team full of **muppets** and has a few tigers hand me downs amongst his ranks, with our roster i think he could do the job, every coach has a lean period

You are a hypocrite Ron, you defend Stuart because as you put it he has a team of muppets, yet you refuse to give Sheens the same latitude with the average teams he had at the Cowboys and here when he first arrived, Stuart has had 3 lean years because of his players but Sheens has had 12 years of failure despite some of the poor rosters he had to work with during some of those years…HYPOCRITE

even with his team of muppets stuart got them to one finals series hell they finished equal first, and you are missing the point right now and for the last 4 years sheens hasnt had a team of muppets hes had a team that should of played in the finals in atleast 3 of those years

Come on Ron, even you've got to notice the team he has now is purely of his own doing. He punted Kimmorley and De Gois, made such star signings as John Morris, Corey Hughes and Adam Cuthbertson to name a few and wonders why his team can't string together any wins…

Deadset, if he coached the Tigers next year, he'd punt Farah, Lote and Marshall and want to replace them John Morris, Grant Rovelli and Ben Pomeroy...

Just read the 84 posts on the Daily Telegraph after that article , to get another view of fans , not maybe on this forum…..most said that if Sheens gets replaced by Stuart, most will hand in their memberships or just won't follow the team again. I would probadly mot renew my family membership as well...why give the club $880 of my hard earn when they get that clown to coach the side ....I would rather sponsor a player in the Balmain team, and just go to all their games again

Please note , that this rumour did say that Stuart should be the coach if the team doesn't make the 8 this year.....i still believe the team will rally , stay focused and make the top 4 .
One game St a time...Next stop, Warriors at Campbelltown.....hope all the locals turn up and create a new ground record and cheer the lads onto victory.

This thread makes me laugh. 99% of those who wanted Sheens gone now are blowing up with who his replacement could be, and now would rather sheens stay!

People seem to think we have the best team in the comp on paper (or even top 4), and its so far from the truth its not funny. There is a reason why along with the Warriors (mostly kiwis), cronulla, and us were the only teams with no SOO players.

FTR, I think Sheens time is up, but I've never wanted him sacked unless we have a replacement just as good signed up.

Start ringing the WT Management and let them know that you are unhappy about the rumours about Stuart.
If they want to replace Sheens , they havebetter options in house than that loser.

They said that don't worry, that the Daily Telegraph doesn't always tell the truth, and I said they should send out an official statement stating that Ricky Stuart WILL NOT be the Wests Tigers coach next year or any year
